My 8-year-old son is constantly drawing, sometimes up until late into the night with pens, pencils, markers and more but his materials needed a home. After a lot of digging, perhaps too much, we arrived at the ZIPIT Monster case. It seemed to have a fun whimsical appearance that fit our son's personality and had lots of colors and style options to suit any taste. We looked at other cases that were transparent, had pockets, flaps, folds, etc but the toothy zip smile won us over.SizeOur biggest question was what size to get? After reviewing what he had, and might potentially have, we opted for the jumbo and in hindsight are so glad we chose it over the smaller pencil case size. The Jumbo is large but not too big and is still quite portable. He takes it on trips with him in the car and has brought it on an airplane. I don't think it fits as much as what is in the demonstration marketing material but it fits a good amount. You can see our son's actual case in the photo as a comparison. He is easily able to open and close the zipper with no assistance.QualityThe case is well made and we've had no snags, tears or issues with the zipper to date and it's been around a year. We don't use the full unzip functionality so can't comment on that. The inside is essentially one large pocket so if you need more separation of storage I would look elsewhere. Otherwise this is an excellent, fun case full of personality. My younger sister has been begging for this pencil pouch so I ordered her one as a surprise. She was very giddy, smiling ear to ear. I remembered a friend owned one when I was in middle school and always wanted one, so was glad to provide my younger sister with her own. She used it right away to store her pencils and highlighters. It is a portable, festive, colorful, silly, fun, and playful pouch. Spacious insides to fit a good amount of writing utensils. Zipper is easy to use and durable. She can unravel and put it back together fast and easy with the zipper. The insides can get dirty with pencil marks easily but we just throw it into the washer and it comes off. But don't dry in the dryer since that could mess with the fabric, we just air dry it in the sun.

This pencil case is strong and durable and loads of fun for even the big kiddos. It's large capacity allows for storing lots of items including a calculator and markers and even a mini notebook. It's definitely worth buying.

They are sturdy and adorable to put your items into. I have this one in my purse and I have medication and daily necessities in them. I never lose it! Very cuteMy sone uses the black one for his items.

Boy let me tell you- my GD tore it open and started unzipping it until the whole thing was ONE LONG ZIPPER with eyes on it, then rezipping it right away back into a pouch, which I did not even realize you could do! :) She already knew about it because another girl at school has one and she fell in love with it. I could easily see why! I was kind of disappointed that it is so shallow considering the price, but is sufficient for a young child as their schooling for 2nd grade does not require that many supplies. I don't believe it would be of sufficient size for a teen though unless their need for supplies was not great. The quality is good and for that I am grateful as so many things nowadays are NOT. If your girl loves pink THIS IS the one for you because let me tell you it IS bubblegum PINK! Lol.It IS also made well. I was pleased with the attention paid to the tedious stitching involved in making something like this. I was really afraid it would not be. It is so much fun to see her get a kick out of just a pencil case and get right to work on her HW that you would think I bought her a toy instead! I would recommend it to others and have done so. If you are hesitant to spend this much for a pencil case (I'm a grandparent so I spoiled her a little) don't worry about the quality, because I am pretty sure it will last - just make them promise to use it two years like I did because it is so expensive. ;) The only possible drawback other than the depth would be to take it easy with the zipping/unzipping so it will withstand the repeated process. Other than that I have no concerns. Splurge and buy it! Your child will get a kick out of it and so will you just watching her play with it. Whomever designed this thing had a stroke of sheer genius. If I were still working I believe I would buy one for myself! Ha.

My seven-year-old granddaughter’s absolutely love these. I filled them with writing utensils, but they really cared about the jazzy look of the zippered container. It was quite a hit for a small package.
