Frank and Sal Parmigiano Reggiano 24 Month Excellent Top Grade - 1.25 Pound

This cheese is what my brother asked for as a birthday gift. He said it's the best cheese he's ever had!

Latteria Soresina is another thing I love about Milan! This is not a single mass producer, but a consortium of about 200 small dairies where the collective pools their resources to take care of each others needs. They've been around since 1900, so it's longevity is a good sign of the quality you're looking for.I've bought this product from Frank and Sal, a multitude of times and as far as taste is concerned, it is of course, spot-on. It's not as crystal-strewn as with a more aged 36 upwards to 72 month cheese, but for a 24 month, it's great. One of the most reliable Italian products you can buy in this country anyway. You can't even find 100% Italian EVOO anymore without "mortgaging the house" for it.By the way, the customer service of these gents is beyond stellar. I can't even tell ya' how above & beyond they've gone.So, I just keep buying this same product over and over. I'm sure you'll get into the routine also.

Better and more authentic than anything I can buy locally

When I added slivers of this parmesan to a salad at dinner one night, my husband loved it so much he now really enjoys having salad! He's not a big veggie eater, so win-win to have a new way to get at least greens in front of him! Comes packaged in sealed cooler bag with ice and then in box marked "perishable". I have been ordering our Parmigiano Reggiano from Frank & Sal's for a couple of years now.

I live in SW Missouri, closest big town is an hour away. No luck finding any parmigiana cheese that’s not laced with saw dust in Walmart or small brick and mortar stores. This brick of cheese is heavenly and on par with the cheese I would buy when we lived just out side of crook county Illinois which is a food haven and one of the only redeeming qualities if northern Illinois.This parmigiana MELTS in your mouth, has the perfect amount of saltiness… it does not get better than this!

Great quality real deal parm. BUT def not 24 months. Zero crystals of aged yumminess. A little disappointing

We ordered this 2 weeks ago, was allegedly shipped 2 days after order date, but allegedly didn’t leave the carrier for another week. We received notification that if the shipment did not arrive by yesterday (still unacceptable for a cheese shipment), we could get a refund today. We have screen shots of everything, cheese arrived warm, cool packs obviously melted long, long ago. Very unhappy, we are asking for that refund. PS, we have ordered this before, directly from Frank and Sal, this was a mistake.
