Tools...who needs them?
I do. I got this for work, and they work great. I like that they are flexible, and they work with my Radio Shack replacement test leads. I use this for electronics testing on computers, cars, trucks, game consoles...and they do what I ask. If you are looking for these type test lead attachments(You surely know what you are doing)...be sure to check the sizing of what you got so you can use these once your order arrives...I failed to do so and got lucky that my plans to use the radio shack leads were compatible. I can stick these into wires and also into the back of plug connectors with out damaging the stuff I am testing! and small enough to probe those tiny circuits and "stuff". Hey I got what I was looking for, and they do what they are supposed to do. Get your own, do not ask to borrow mine!

Good Quality But Not Designed For Standard Meter Leads
What you should know is these are not designed for standard meter test leads. I have alligator clips on the ends of my test leads (Radio Shack) and have been using my wife's T shaped needles to back probe connectors, that has been working OK, but the needles are a little too large in diameter.I cut the hard plastic insulators back about a half-inch and can now clip my leads to these by inserting one of the jaws into the back end of these. I tried inserting the jaw without cutting back the insulation and it worked but did not have a good solid connection. The needles are small in diameter and the ends are sharp, you should have no problem back probing any standard automotive harness/connection. I also like the fact that they come with protective caps. Another good feature is the needles are connected to the female ends with a wire instead of having a rigid connection; they are flexible for tight spaces. They probably make these designed for standard meter test leads but these popped up when I ordered my Power Probe lll.An easy way to cut the insulation off is to use a sharp utility knife and roll the adapter back and forth (under a hard surface) until you feel it hit metal, then cut a line along the length down to the metal and peel it off.

Works great... except
The needle size is perfect for sliding into the back of the connector. Only took 1 star off because they don't fit the leads on my multimeter.

Can't Go Wrong With ES Electronic Specialties Parts
Good quality.

Good combination
The power pro kit is perfect , I am satisfied with this equipment. It give you the option to perform different test on the car wires using the accessories, that I bought separated . I had an old power pro still is working , doesn't have the same futures as it , so for me it was like a upgraded a tool , but definitely the brand is good.

Decent, but would have preferred a thinner needle.
Overall the probes seem just "OK". The needle tips were not as thin as expected. I calipered the needle as 0.038-0.039 inches diameter, just under 1mm. Falls between standard wire gauges 19 & 20.I have some worries the weather seal on a typical automotive connector will get compromised if I stick the needle into the connector 's backside. Last thing I needis a non-healing pinhole allowing moisture to weep into the connector body. The somewhat flexible body might be useful one day ... but not sure if or when. The probes accept a common, standard, male banana plug for connecting to a DMM or other instrument, so that's a "plus".
