UPSBatteryCenter Compatible for BB CPS5.5-12 12V Battery

This model battery is really difficult to find, probably because cyber power wants the customer just to buy a new UPS, so I was happy to find this one and decided to give it a try. Battery looks and feels identical to the original and actually seems to be better quality. So far, it's been working very well and has even saved my computer from shutting down unexpectedly, at least a few times during some heavy rain/wind storms. It was easy to install. Just shut down your computer, hold the power button on the UPS until it shuts off, unplug the UPS, flip it. Then you just unscrew the back cover (phillips screw). Old battery slides out and you disconnect the terminals. New battery fit perfectly in the space. The only issue I had was that while the right physically sized battery was sent, one of the terminals was smaller, when I needed them to be both the larger size. I contacted the seller and they got back to me within minutes and said they'd get an adapter right out to me, so it was clearly an honest error and they went out of their way to make it right. Battery has been working perfectly with the adapter and I'd definitely order from UPSBatteryCenter again! Their customer service really has been among the best I've had on amazon, so on that alone, I'm glad I took a chance. I have found that pretty much all UPS batteries are made by the same companies anyway and just have a label on them that say something like "Cyberpower" or "APC". This company may even make their own batteries and they seem to really care about making the best possible. That’s not something you see with most companies anymore. I almost forgot, while the estimated shipping said it could take a week to receive, it only took a couple of days. Battery was packaged nicely in a sturdy box and dense, non-static conducting foam. So even had the carrier been rough with the package, it'd have arrived in great shape anyway. All in all, really great experience and I only have great things to say. If there were any issues, I certainly would have indicated so, because a big reason to leave a review is to make sure other customers get what they expect and avoid things that are not good products. Great battery, great company, and amazing customer service, what more could I ask?

CyberPower does not offer a replacement for the OEM 12V 5.5Ah battery. The replacement UPS Battery Center 6.5AH fits perfectly in the unit. Dimensions are nearly exact. I am not sure how long the replacement battery will update my review in the future if/as issues present. The only downside is the fact this battery is fairly expensive given many 7.2Ah batteries in larger units can be found for $20-25 range on the lower end.

This replacement battery was a perfect fit for my old Cyberpower SL750U compact UPS. DO NOT believe Cyberpower’s “battery finder” website which falsely tells you that there’s “no user replaceable battery” for this model!!! Literally could not be easier and it was just like any of my other UPS from APC. Just flip it over, unscrew 2 Phillips head screws, slide off the cover, dump out the old battery and pull off the wires and then put in the new one. Took me 5 mins, if that. Highly recommend this and they even upgraded me from the 5.5AH to the 6.5AH one for free! This means higher capacity so it will last a bit longer in an outage compared to the original!

My Cyberpower backup unit stopped working. Oddly, it would power up when unplugged but not when plugged in. On a hunch I bought a replacement battery. It is a VERY tight fit but the battery went in just fine. Unit powered back up and works properly. (I also tested it unplugged drawing power to a fan).
