Great price, works good, easy to install!
For 10 AWG it is a snap to install as shown in picture. Before energizing the breaker of course and using the little inserts you run the hot wires through and tighten the little screws in box to penetrate the insulation. Takes just a few minutes. Reads in kwh with tenths as last digit. Very compact and easy to read. A far cry from the old bubble gum meters. Naturally if you install it inside your box you are going to have to fit things a certain way or cut holes etc so you be the judge on what code requires or that you want for safety. I include this pic with my temporary setup so you can see how simple it is to connect. Been using one of the meters a few months and very satisfied. I should drop a star because on the first meter it must have been a return and the sharp point of the screw had been broken off, but what the heck why throw it out. Besides, on the 8 AWG UF I had to carefully strip away insulation in the right spot and shim it with little segments of the insert to make it tight so I would have had to strip wire anyway.The blinking red light is similar to the wheel on an old mechanical meter and indicates at a rate of Pulse output: 800 pulses per kWhManual included or you can get here: https://www.daecontrols.com/home/downloads/datasheets?task=weblink.go&id=93

Fun Project
Easy to install. I've put 8 in our rental unit A/C's so far and one on the pool pump. Metering won't bring my costs down but it will let me know where the electric is being used.

This totals up the wattage used
I think I miss read the ad, was under the impression that it was able to show how many watts or amps my devise was using, instead it displays a running total amount used.

UPDATED: DDM730 is NOT 3-Wire
-------------------------------------------------------EDIT:I previously gave this meter only one star due to the completely inaccurate marketing.But the support was FANTASTIC. They were very quick to respond, and to update their description clearly stating that it only receives 2 wires, so I'm bumping it up to 3 stars.I would have given it more stars if only the meter itself didn't falsely boast "3-WIRE" right on it.But I expect this meter to do everything I need, and the support was so impressively ready to be helpful that I am entirely content.-------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL:The DDM730 is specifically and clearly marketed as SINGLE-PHASE 3-WIRE. But that is wholly untrue.I'm still expecting it to do what I need, so no need to return, but "2 Hot, 1 Neutral" is misleading.After speaking with support, my suspicion has been confirmed. DDM730 is only a 2-wire meter....

Easy to install
Very simple design. The channels to pass the wire through are somewhat narrow, but this thing even comes with an adapter if you're trying to meter really small gauge like 14 or 16.
