Great for kids who love to decorate rocks
My 9-year-old loves this kit. It comes with everything to need to create a beautiful rock, including the stand to put the rocks on to coat in color and dry. Getting the hang of mixing and pouring did take a bit (we have a couple of ugly rocks), but it was really fun to make, and we spent like an hour working on it, worth the money for us.

Great for young rock hounds
Our son loves collecting rocks, but they're are usually nothing special. This kit was fun for him to decorate the provided rocks and give them to his best friends. He even made one as a birthday gift for his younger cousin. The kit is pretty straight forward and has a variety of paint colors, glitter, and a few gems. I do wish they provided more basic colors so you can mmix your own colors and had a few extra stands for more than 3 rocks.

Fun and artistic!
This is such a fun set! It comes with 10 small rocks and different color paint to use. This is a fun set to do with little kids and older kids can do it themselves. The paint colors are pretty! I helped 4 of our nieces create really pretty rocks. After we let them dry, the girls added them to my bookshelf and they looked great! It's a fun and great set, especially if your kiddos love art!

DONT wash your paint into the sink, no eco friendly glitter and missing 80 of what you need!
I have been a paint and poor artist for over a decade now and it is something I love doing in my free time because it’s an absolute passion of mine. I have never paint and poured on rocks before and I was excited to see how it would work and try it out.All in all this kit is decent, but has some major fails. Most paint and pour kits come with a newspaper or plastic tarp to lay down so paint doesn’t get everywhere when pouring. This didn’t come with that at all, sure you have a small pouring tray but you can’t keep both your open paint jars and your mixing cups on there. So you need to bring your own because these do stain your table, carpet and clothes.I wish this kit gave you options to mix your own colors, why not provide some stiring sticks and a few disposable mixing cups since YOU CANT WASH PAINT DOWN THE DRAIN. Not only could I not stir or mix the paints because all of it separated and was too thick to shake but I couldn’t mix my own colors. Side note the painting all have safety seals with no tab to open them…. Each one exploded from pressure and you’ll have to open with a knife. Not really kid friendly, oh yeah did I mention they stain AND there’s no tarp included?Ps as an Artist sticks help coat the bottom of the rocks with paint that way they’re coated 360 and can dry fully coated on the stand.Next and the MOST FRUSTRATING error in this kit….. why in the world would you only give me 3 rock frying stands for 11 rocks??? I was only able to make 3 rocks. That means I’ll have to go back and repeat everything 3 more times if the paint isn’t dried out by then… that means using more plastic, using more of my own cups, using my own mixing sticks since you can’t use a knife because PAINT CANT GO DOWN THE DRAIN. Another flop of this kit.Lastly why aren’t you using ECO friendly glitter!? It’s the exact same price… We are painting rocks, rocks go outside into the environment. Glitter is made from micro plastics that never disappear from our environments and cause serious illnesses to our wild life and can never be removed from our tapwater. Let alone having micro plastics in your lungs while using glitter.I’m sure people were washing their paint trays in the sink, let alone showing off their rocks outside after using the forever micro plastics in your kit. Shame on you.As a painting and pour artist, I really hope you take some of these suggestions to make your paint and pour kit even better. Please provide enough drying stands that way people can paint their rocks in one or two sitting instead of four.. no kid or even myself as an adult is gonna come back and repaint these rocks on four separate occasions, it is four separate messes, four times the mix mixing cups, plastic tarps, and wooden sticks, 4 times you have people washing out paint cups into the environment and cleaning their trays or knives into the sink.I would immediately add on your box and on the instructions that paint cannot be washed off into the sink or outside into the environment. I can’t recommend this kit because it is missing 80% of the items it needs, it uses forever plastics and worst of all there is no warning not to rinse your paint off into the sink.-When your paint drys you can peel it off easily and we repurpose our paint and pour puddles into amazing earrings and necklaces. Often times your paint tray will look better than your canvas or rocks why not reuse the best parts.

Paint Pouring Rock Art Kit
This rock painting kit turned out to be the perfect birthday party activity! The paint pouring technique makes it nearly impossible to create a "bad" design, which meant every child went home proud of their unique masterpiece. The colors are vibrant and blend beautifully together, creating mesmerizing marble-like patterns that had both kids and adults amazed. The kit comes with everything needed - rocks, paints, pouring cups, and a mess-containing workspace. The setup is straightforward, and the process is engaging without being overly complicated. Even the younger children could participate successfully, though adult supervision helps with the pouring technique. The drying time isn't too long, so the kids could take their creations home the same day. What really makes this kit special is how it combines creativity with a bit of science and wonder. Watching the colors flow and mix together kept the children completely engaged, and each rock turned out completely unique. It's refreshing to find an art project that's both entertaining and foolproof. For anyone planning a kids' party or looking for a group activity, this rock painting kit delivers hours of creative fun with stunning results.

Really fun activity! But glitter...
This was a great craft to kill the boredom during a playdate at our house, and I expect we'll get several more uses out of it. My only "watch out" is that there is glitter involved, so prepare your crafting space accordingly.

Rock painting - great indoor activity
I got this for my granddaughters who are almost 9 and almost 5 years old. They’ve made Friendship rocks before and loved making them. I had high expectations for this product and it didn’t disappoint! They made 5 rocks each and it was a bit messy but the rocks turned out great! They had lots of fun pouring the paint then adding the glitter, confetti, and stickers on the rocks. The girls both needed a bit of guidance to ensure they didn’t saturate the rocks with paint. I reminded them that using less paint will allow for more layers and swirls. The first couple of rocks look pretty good but the last rocks looked really good! Fun activity when the kids are inside and want something fun to do!
