HP MPVI3 Diagnostic Code Scanner and Tool with No Credits

upgraded from mpvi2 to mpvi3, I heard rumor it would work on macbook's with m1/m2 etc chips, and it does..hope this helps someone else.

Tuned out cylinder deactivation on our Chevy vehicles with no issues. Easy to learn the basics with a lot of video sources for every model on YouTube. Works on almost any car or truck as long has it has an OBD2 port

Very easy to go into the editor and do your tuning changes. BUT don’t be fooled into thinking any idiot should be messing with the numbers. One must research and understand exactly what you’re changing and why or you could easily ruin your car. If you do know what you’re doing this is a great tool to make fast changes and do road tunes for yourself and friends or dyno tunes if you have access to one. This device will absolutely not hold your hand but you can learn to tune without blowing an engine if you’re patient and careful. I knew 0 but tuned a friends turbo’d luxury car with a safe and high performance tune after just a few days of research.On a side note the device is a little chunky so you may need a OBD2 extension to plug into the tighter located ports. Came with a long USB C to A cable for a laptop, a lanyard and a sticker. The hardest part of using this device was logging into HPtuners website because their captcha was awful to get working. Also you have to pay to license cars individually and the cost and support varies per car.

I’m a little late to the game, but this interface and HP tuner software is amazing. It has allowed me to do so many things to my truck and make it more usable for towing. Super happy with the purchase.

Amazing. Very versitile tool. Used to reprpgram my ECM on a 99 suburban after a 5 speed swap. Even on older equipment you can adjust about any perameter on a stock ecm. U.I is very simple. Would buy again

The device seems ok but the customer service is terribly slow. Thank goodness I didn't have a customers vehicle down when the device failed because it took HP several weeks to remedy the issue. We played the email game for 2 weeks while I begged them to call me but they refused so a 5 minute conversation took 2 weeks. Then finally they had me mail it in with a promise to overnight it back. That process took 10 days +/-. I tracked it with the tracking number daily. They didn't overnight it. That's pretty typical customer service these days. Once they get your money, you're not priority. Thanks HP, I'm sure you'll thrive so who cares right??Guys if HP makes it right, I'll let you know
