Wow! Just came across this item. I’m constantly looking for good back massager and back scratcher. I have many that I’ve purchased over the years. This is by far the best item I’ve ever used. It’s the Lexus of handheld massagers and backscratchers. Well made, Sturdy construction made of cast aluminum. This is a premium product. Another amazing feature is the variety of lengths. You can use it short and add another extension pole which is included, to make it full length. It’s the best $30 item I’ve purchased in a long time.I never leave reviews. I’m only posting this so that other can benefit from this product as I have.

This replaced another back scratcher that was literally too sharp and would almost take skin off. This one is nice because to tips are rounded and more functional. I also had one that broke. This particular one is superior to them both. The area it scratches is nice and large. The scratcher is made well and isn't going to break with a few uses. I was kind of surprised at the design because I haven't seen one designed this way. I tend to like a rough scratch. This beats using a door frame and it also doesnt feel like it is tearing off skin. I like it quite a bit. The price is a little bit steep but I believe this will last a lot longer than ones I paid half as much for. So time well tell.

So this is an interesting one -- the product lists as a backscratcher and so that is how I'll review it. The handle and tines are both metal, and easy to assemble. They feel rigid and sturdy, so no concerns on durability or holding up to use. The ends of the tines are tiny spheres, and they don't really do a great job of scratching -- the main point of a back scratcher. They are comfortable in use, but the effect is more of a massage than anything scratchy.The tines, once assembled, don't retract, so it's a bit wide and unwieldy after use when finding a place to put away.Interesting as a massager style device, but not really a great backscratcher.

My husband would have his back scratched all day if he could. I ordered this Massage Master Metal Back Scratcher to give myself a break from scratching. It was easy to assemble. I thought he would like the multiple scratching arms. He likes it, but still says the real thing is better. I’ve used it and it reminds me of the sensory experience head massagers gives, just for my back. The scratching arms aren’t sharp yet they still feel wonderful. The handle is long so it’s easy to reach my back. It’s important to note this is extendable but not telescopic.This back scratcher is heavier than I expected. Keep that in mind if you’re ordering for a senior. Near the end of my dad’s life he needed back scratchers in every room but this one would’ve been way too heavy for him to comfortably and safely use it.

I love the size of this backscratcher. It is about five inches wide, so you can do a "once over" pretty quickly. It is really well-made and easy to hold, and I can reach all areas of my back. It does really well for regular itches, but I might stick to my bamboo scratcher for those really centralized deep itches. I tried out the other end -- the backscratcher has a rounded metal end at the handle -- for pointed massage and it really worked at this one painful spot I have in my shoulder blade.By the way, you can use it short or with the extension rod. I'm thinking when you're scratching someone else's back, use it short. When you're scratching your own, use the extension rod.It's a nice burnished black metal. So great looking!It comes beautifully packaged and would make a wonderful gift.

From the photos in the Amazon listing I initially thought this massager and back scratcher might be flimsy and delicate. However, it’s anything but that. It’s very sturdy and made of high-quality materials. With the optional extension added to the handle it’s a convenient length for back scratching and lets you cover a lot of territory with its six-inch-wide swath of soft-tipped wire tines. This well-made, feel-good item will definitely outlast me and become a family heirloom.

I follow a YouTuber who does spa on his dog weekly. He uses a much smaller tool like this on the dog, and the dog was just so happy and relaxed. I ordered this item to review out of curiosity.Once I used it on myself, it's really nice.This item can be used for back massager, but mainly this is used for relaxation by stimulating the muscles.I like it the best when clothed. - It makes the metal tips easier to roll (it hurts when there's too much resistance) and it really helps relaxing. Tapping it also helps to achieve the result.The tip ball really helps working out massaging tough muscles.If there's anything I want to complain, I wish the claw is smaller so I can use on my arm and legs too !
