this stuff is awesome! I eat plant based for health, but I really miss meat/poultryI used it to soak soy curls and added pickling spice which made a "corned beef" for St paddys day it was delicious.I purchased some frozen field peas (blackeye peas)while in the south. I came home and simmered them in this broth with onion. OMG it tasted like there was pork in the beans! My next attempt will be collard greens!

Very surprised and pleased with this. It tastes like I remember ham (vegan for 25 years now). It is not too salty and worked great in a 15 bean soup recipe. I added a vegan sausage after the soup had cooked for a little added flavor and texture, but it really was great without it. Highly recommend especially if you are vegan.

I used this as a base to make vegan french onion soup. The taste could have been a little stronger but overall not bad for a vegan flavor. I increased the ratio of soup mix to water to improve the strength. I would buy this again.

I've been mostly plant-based for the past 4-5 months. It was hard at the beginning, especially trying to find recipes that offer good umami flavor. Soup is something we eat at least a couple times a week in our house (even during summer) so when it came to finding broth, I was happy to have stumbled across this item. The flavor is spot on, and not too salty. I usually add it to vegetable broth that I make with leftover kitchen scraps, just to punch up the flavor a bit. I'll even add it to sauces for stir fry. It's a pretty versatile ingredient. It gives a good amount of umami and it really does "taste like chicken." My husband is a meat eater (don't judge him too harshly, people), and he can't tell the difference. I've since bought this item at my grocery store (they finally started stocking it). Even if I do go back to meat, I'll still continue to buy this. It's worth the money, it tastes good, and I can sprinkle it in just about anything. SOOO DELICIOUS!! Taste just like the maruchan chicken flavored noodles but it’s Vegan. Honestly was surprised it tasted so good

This product is amazing! Tastes just like Ham seasoning and works great in soups, vegetables and gravy. Tofu and seitan soak up the flavor very well. I highly recommend this seasoning.

Orrington Farms has changed the recipe for this seasoning. We loved using the old one. There were fewer ingredients, fewer chemicals, and it tasted better. I wish the company would go back to the original recipe.
