Excellent for what it is
You have to keep in mind that this isn’t a milkshake or chocolate milk. It’s not going to taste like a treat. However, the taste is not at all unpleasant. The texture is thick and creamy. Compared to other protein drinks I’ve tried, this is by far the most satiating, well worth the extra 80 cal compared to other brands. 30 g of soy protein isolate is a highly digestible form of protein, and the small amounts of fat and fiber really help it fill you up. Great if you don’t have time/an appetite for a full meal

Tastes good
Great tasting, a bit costly, and I wish it had more protein per calorie. But this and vanilla are both creamy and filling.

Soy protein
They’re pretty good and do the job. This is soy protein based which has its pros and cons. I guess soy is grown with more pesticides than other vegan protein alternatives which makes me nervous. I might go back to using a pea plant protein shake. I don’t feel sick or anything from drinking these though. Maybe it’s made with organic soy.

Great source of protein
My husband and I have been having one of these a day for over a year now. I'm a vegetarian, and he rarely eats meat, so we were on the hunt for a surefire source of protein. We had tasted soylent before and liked it, but we stopped getting it due to the sugar content. When we stumbled upon this, we were thrilled for a low-sugar, high protein option.A lot of comments says the taste isn't as good and the thickness is weird... maybe I would have agreed when we first started taking it, but I adore it now. I don't want an overloaded sugary flavor. And the thickness is manageable if you shake it enough before drinking. It thickens when it sits.I think the cost is a fair concern and I would prefer it be a little more manageable. But we've been dealing with. If it goes up, we may re-evaluate.

Mix it with water!
I need meal replacement drinks to help meet nutrient needs, but I am lactose intolerant and on Dr rx low fiber diet, and as far as I can choose, I prefer vegan products. This product is a godsend. But it was very difficult to drink these straight. The texture was disgusting and the flavour was not quite right. Then I learned from some redditors that watering it down, 1:3 made it more palatable. I was dubious but I tried it and it works 100%. Just like drinking chocolate milk, texture and flavour.Once watered down, the flavour is very delicate: a whisper of chocolate yet not so tasty as to make your brain want more than one portion. Satisfying without any cravings.

Atrocious
I never liked regular Soylent, but I work too much and sometimes need a meal I could drink. I am exercising more and have been restricting calories (trying to lose a bit of weight) so I thought I might try these. How's a glass of vanilla flavored gravy sound? They make me feel so heavy and bloated. I have a milky thick saliva experience for hours after consuming even if I drink double one of these in water as I consume it. Its just completely gross. If you need a meal replacement stick with original. If you need a protein shake, I think eating just dry scoops of protein powder would be more pleasant and have fewer digestive issues.

Too thick
It seems to have the vitamins and protein you need, but it is really thick and chalky. Not pleasant to drink.

Excellent meal replacement
Love these. The taste is great. I drink them cold and reminds me of a milkshake.
