Super handy for ditching goggles and watching live FPV action!
I’ve been messing with this 5.8GHz FPV Monitor, and it’s dope for my drone hobby! The 4.3-inch screen is bright and crisp at 800x480, and the 40-channel receiver grabs real-time video with almost no lag. The DVR function is clutch—pop in an SD card and record flights on the fly. Dual antennas keep the signal steady, and the built-in battery lasts decently. Only downside? The auto-search for frequencies can be a bit slow sometimes, but it’s no biggie once you’re locked in. Super handy for ditching goggles and watching live FPV action!

Here is how to get the video output to work in the United States!!
Find the picture in the manual, it is a standard 3.5mm Audio Video cable (three black rings). However, here is the trick to get it to work. You must cut the cable and switch the yellow with the white wire. Ground remains blue. The first ring coming out of this device is the video signal. However, in the USA, the first ring is expecting audio. So by switching, you get the correct video output to the correct pin in the 3.5 connector that goes into the TV. Enjoy!

Decent
Won't pick up a signal as robustly and reliably as a set of goggles with a good, "crossfire" style VRX, but for the money, it works pretty well.Navigating the menu is clunky. Screen is nearly bright enough to use outdoors, however a lot of detail is hard to see unless you find some shade to stand in.It has two little indentation tabs at the top and the bottom, but other than that there's no real way to mount this to something short of 3D printing your own solution and using double sided tape.Uses the weird "looks like USB Micro B connection but takes up to 30 volts" plug/wire, which is handy but DANGEROUS if you plug that cable into literally anything else! Be careful...More compact and arguably better quality than the top selling 5.8 GHz VRX LCD here on Amazon, but less refined.Uses SMA-RP so if your antenna has a pin, you'll need to use an adapter or find another antenna.I power it using the battery in my Tx and it does take a toll on the battery pretty quickly, but not alarmingly so.For whatever reason, mine arrived with the rear panel unscrewed, and missing four screws. I forget if they were m2 or m2.5 but assembly is required! Kinda weird but not a big deal. Maybe it was built on a Friday.

Now
My only wish is that I would have bought a MUCH BETTER video cam to use with this, but instead I chose a $17 dollar cam for my first fvp setup ☹️ this actually makes my cheap camera look 1000x better than it really is and CAN NOT WAIT to get the rest of the money for the camera I have picked out and use with this monitor.

Awesome
Compact and vibrant picture. Last a reasonable amount of time on a charge.

Terrible transmission
The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this so I could use it as a DVR for my BetaFPV Cetus Pro. I get great signal on my goggles but this display can’t produce any good signal no matter what band/channel you select. Video ended up unwatchable and menu is a pain to navigate. The last problem is the micro sd card is impossible to insert without using some sort of skinny tool or key to push in so it clicks into place, and same with getting it out.
