I had this DS808 plugged in and was using it with three monitors within 10 minutes of it arriving at my house. Very easy set up, very nice packaging. Instructions are very well written including the additional USB flash drive that includes drivers. The provided cables seem to be a very, very good quality. My favorite part (other than being able to connect three monitors) is that because it is powered I can use it to charge my watch, phone and anything else that just needs a USB connection. I bought this because my company is going remote and they are providing us with MacBooks to use at home. I’ve never liked working off a single laptop screen so having multiple monitors was a must.Why did you pick this product vs others?:I felt the price was good. And I had coworkers that had also bought one of the earlier versions and they spoke highly of it.

We got this for our home office as I have a mac and wanted to be able to use 2 displays. This has worked really well so far and has a lot of plugs. Setting it up got confusing because the display ports are all HDMI but the shop made it seem like we could use USB-C for display. It's a small enough box that fits anywhere and you can easily change out the plugs. So far, it hasn't over heated.

6/27/2024 - Streaming issue Resolved: To get streaming services to work properly with the Minisopuru Dock, you have to disable hardware acceleration on your browser. Once I did this with the Google chrome browser, all streaming services worked properly (black screen went away and video works). I did not test this on any other browser but chrome.The Minisopuru docking station offers a robust solution for expanding the display capabilities of a Mac Mini by allowing users to connect up to three monitors simultaneously. The docking station provides a variety of ports, ensuring compatibility with different monitor types and resolutions, and it maintains high-quality video output with minimal lag or disruption.However, a significant downside severely limits its appeal: the Minisopuru docking station blocks all streaming services. This includes popular platforms such as YouTube TV, Apple TV, Netflix, and Hulu. Users have reported that once the docking station is connected, they can no longer access these services, leading to a frustrating experience for those who use their Mac Mini for both work and entertainment. This issue seems to be persistent and affects all streaming services without any available workaround.While the Minisopuru docking station excels in expanding monitor capabilities, its interference with streaming services is a critical flaw. For users who need a versatile setup that supports both professional and personal use, this docking station might not be the ideal choice. Until this issue is resolved, it is recommended to consider alternative docking stations that do not compromise streaming capabilities.

I tested at least five different docking stations, and this was the only one fully compatible with a Mac M4 and a 4K display at 60Hz using DisplayLink. I just wish it had more USB-C ports instead of multiple USB 2.0 ports.
