I'm just dipping my toes into gummed tape for packaging and needed something better than a handheld sponge for wetting the tape. This thing sure does the job. It's not perfect, being unable to really keep the tape centered, but for what it cost, I can't complain. If you just need to do a little tape dispensing like I do, this is the way to go. Just make sure you do mount this down to a plank or something so it doesn't move around when tearing. It's so light, it will move!

This takes some getting used to when you’ve been using the tape gun for so long. You can’t carry it around because it is loaded with water. However it makes your box look so professional and this tape is AWESOME!!!!!!!! I absolutely recommend this for small businesses that packs their own boxes.

Does the blade work? No! Do you have to use scissors? Yes! Is it ideal for someone packing 30 plus boxes a day? No! I send 5-10 boxes a day. For such a low number, I don't mind using scissors. And yes, you have to use your other hand while you pull the tape to gently hold the tape to make sure all parts of the tape is getting wet. I don't mind doing that because I DO mind paying 4 to 5 times for high end metal base dispensers. So yes, there's a trade off but I'm happy with it. Now if I were sending 30, 40, 50 boxes a day, I'd definitely get the high end model and not the plastic one.

This Water Activated Gummed Kraft Paper Tape Packaging Dispenser turned out to be cheaply made. A water bottle set on mist works much better, and I am very disappointed in this purchase. I had hoped to enhance the visual appearance of my shipping station while ensuring functionality, but unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. It falls short in both performance and visual appeal. I would not recommend this dispenser for anyone seeking a reliable and aesthetically pleasing solution. I got a refund

When I first started using packing tape of this nature I never thought about needing a dispenser. I used a sponge and scissors for the first few months. Then I went to look for this item and found it on Amazon. It’s very solid and works perfectly each time.
