Works great for sleeping

Although it worked good for me for a while I eventually switched over to using magnesium which has worked so much better but I will say for the amount in the price. It is a steel of a deal. I do love this brand as well I did not have any side effects with the supplement. It did give me a focus and a calming effect which is nice but overtime I felt that it was not as effective, but since taking magnesium for a month straight, it has not Caused any lessening effect like the gabba did

This was a repeat order...great product

NOW is a good brand and I was really hoping these GABA capsules, along with Mg and melatonin, would help as a natural relaxant for a quick deeper sleep. They may work for some, but for me they seemed to have an opposite effect -- keeping my mind racing longer. With one or two capsules, I eventually fell asleep, but not as deep. It is described for "neurotransmitter support" which sounds accurate. However, for sleep, I really don't need those neurons transmitting so much.

I saw a recommendation for GABA to be used sublingually to stop a proctalagia fugax spasm (anal sphincter spasm), and after years of suffering with frequent attacks and trying all kinds of recommended poses and exercises, I tried this. I opened the capsule and dusted a little of the powder under my tongue. It worked! Only a minute or two later the spasm subsided! Total game changer for me.
