I installed this on a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. It looks fantastic. The installation was a bit of a challenge, but not because of the product. I ended up using small zip ties to hold the lights in place where I wanted them to be. On one light, I did use the adhesive and it is holding up thus far. My son loves to pick the color every time we get in the car in the evenings.

Talk about light let me tell you this here really lights up your car in different colors and I noticed also whenever I listen to different kinds of beats and music it does something different so it has like some kind of sensor mechanism that that changes colors depending on what kind of music you're listening to and I really love that to sign more products like this whatever made it your rockstar thank you.PS I also use it for my little taco stand because it's so easy to take off and put on if you're like me don't take off the plastic from the taping cuz it does stick I learned my lesson so if you do use it don't remove the stick from the glue unless you're not going to remove it otherwise it's easy and very friendly to use and it comes with the remote.

I like that this is a USB plug instead of the bigger plug type. The spot I wanted to plug these in at needed to be USB as it's kind of a low profile spot and was very hidden already. Helped me hide the cords better this way. I just wish that they were a tad bit brighter. I've had others in the past from different companies that I actually had to turn the brightness down. So I don't know if it's just as bright as they go or if I maybe got an old set that was just already faded?

Coming from a Tesla with footwell lights, I missed that added visibility at night in my 2018 Kia Niro. This USB-powered footwell light kit was the perfect solution! Installation was incredibly easy – I simply plugged the lights into the USB port in my center armrest and ran the wires. The wire lengths were sufficient to reach all four footwells (under the steering wheel, under the glove box, and under each front seat to illuminate the rear). I was able to tuck the wires neatly under the seats and the plastic trim along the door edges without even needing to remove any panels.The brightness of the solid white setting is just right. It provides enough illumination to easily see anything I might drop in the footwell at night without being overly bright or distracting while driving. While the kit includes a controller with various colors and flashing modes (even music-responsive!), I haven't explored those features as I only wanted a constant white light, which this delivers perfectly.A fantastic aspect is that the USB port in my Niro's center armrest turns on and off with the ignition, meaning the footwell lights automatically come on when I start the car at night – no extra effort needed. The small controller is discreetly placed on the passenger side of the center armrest, out of my sight as the driver and not in the way of any passengers.After two months of use, the pre-attached adhesive on the front lights and the zip ties I used in the rear have held up remarkably well, even with the Florida heat inside the car. Importantly, the wiring was long enough to route safely away from the pedals and seat rails. If you're looking for a simple, no-wiring-required way to add functional and aesthetically pleasing footwell lighting to your car, this kit is an excellent choice.

The lights work perfectly when set up correctly. But too many wires across your console affecting car’s controls. Plus they wear your battery down, if not excepted by your car’s computer system. Hiding the wires from the front seat area to the back seat area is a task, but durable using tape to hold the wires, but adjustments to front seat for different size people causes the wires to come loose.

Super excited to get this based on some reviews and the price. Unfortunately I didn’t check ALL the colors when I plugged it in to make sure it works before installing… only then did I discover that two colors didn’t work on half the device at all. Just turned white. Customer service was abysmal… it was text, and they never answered any questions (like how to download/use the app it supposedly comes with since there were no instructions and I couldn’t find one that connected to the lights/I thought maybe I could fix it?), and would ask me one question every 24-72 hrs at like 11pm and then not respond until 24-72 hrs later. A total scam to draw out the return period, I’m guessing. I ended up just returning to Amazon and quit wasting my time and bought a much better product for only $10 more.
