Works wonders along with feeding changes
My dog has gastrointestinal issues (vomit and/or diarrhea) every four months or so. Here’s what has worked for us:I fast my dog for a few hours at the first onset. Then I use this product, with under the weather’s bland food product fed in frequent small amounts…1 oz per hour to start. 2-3 hours after his first bland food I give him 1 oz of pumpkin in addition to the bland food, and repeat that every hour as well. Then I slowly increase amount and frequency of food as symptoms get better. Followed by a gradual transition back to regular food.I always make sure he’s getting sufficient calories by weighing each day’s meals in the AM. ChatGPT can help with the feeding amount calculations and schedule! This product and routine has worked so well for my dog’s gastrointestinal issues, and I highly recommend!PS you can also buy this medicine from Durvet in one gallon size for about the same price as this.

No Cap
As with several other reviews, my bottle arrived with no cap. It only had the foil cover. Thankfully it didn't puncture during shipping. Hopefully it works.

Works like magic!
Love this product. Works very well for my old dog with sensitive stomach. Tried other brands but this is the best.

Could possibly have saved our 5yr old chiweenie mix’s life
Our little dog has an ACL tear. She’s waiting for surgery so they put her on a painkiller/anti-inflammatory med with an additional pill to help her with nerve sensitivity. The meds did their job well, but definitely effected her appetite and was soon to start seriously irritating her tummy. On the third day which was a Saturday and the start of a three day holiday weekend our little dog woke up with diarrhea and bright red blood (not drops, enough blood that we had to clean her up afterwards) in her watery stool. We were unable to take her to an ER and the Dr. could not be reached. We started her on “Under the weather”. It’s now Monday “Memorial Day”. She got up this morning, no diarrhea, no blood and has even started to eat small amounts. One dose Saturday late afternoon, one morning, one nighttime dose on Sunday is all it took. Can’t thank “Under the weather” enough for taking care of our little girl and getting us all through a stressful weekend that could’ve ended tragically.

Badly packaged
Amazon shipped it loose in with two heavier items and by the time it arrived the product had been squeezed open and leaks.I do like the product but now I am out 16 bucks because I can’t return it. Not fair to me.

Hit or Miss product Vet says
tl;drSave your money and go with homemade chicken and rice and pure psyllium husk powder and see a vet if symptoms are prolonged. After a vet visit yesterday, I have a better understanding of these under the weather products and what to really use. My dog had very bad loose stools for a week and then suddenly diarrhea even though she was on under the weather bland diet the whole time. Took her to the vet and asked the vet if I should use this anti diarrhea liquid (already ordered) and vet said the active ingredients is for absorbing toxins but is a hit or miss. Vet ran tests and blood work and it ended up being pancreatitis. The vet prescribed her gabapentin and told me to buy pure psyllium husk powder which I got from whole foods. So that night, I went with homemade chicken and rice and added the gaba and psyllium husk and decided to not try the liquid. First poop after, in the morning, she's instantly cured. Well formed and normal color again. My dog is 13lb and was told to use 3/4tsp twice a day but consult your vet. So I started to read more reviews about this anti diarrhea liquid and it truly does sound like hit or miss and unfortunately with some dogs even had adverse reactions like being zonked out. So based on those bad reviews I'm not going to risk trying this on my dog and tossing it out.

Effective and fast
About once a year my dog gets diarrhea for an unknown reason. Vets tell me to feed him a bland diet and run a lot of tests that never conclude anything. In the past, I’ve just had to let it run its course and hope the bland diet works. Last year it took almost a week of waking up every couple hours to let him out at night and having a run down sick pup. This time, I decided there has to be something out there to help. This product had him back to normal in under 24 hours. I’m keeping it on hand all the time. Doggy tummy trouble does not have to be a long drawn out thing. Thank you!
