I gamed for years and always wanted a set of metal dice, but never could bring myself to buy them, until now. I moved out of state several years ago but recently needed to come home to deal with my familys' estate. During this time I've reconnected with old friends and the topic of gaming came up. Since my dice are packed away in another state, I needed to buy some I could use while I'm here, and figured this was my opportunity to finally get those metal dice I always wanted. I landed on these because I loved the color and design.Right out of the box, I was really impressed with their weight. They're slightly larger than my standard dice sets, so they have a commanding presence that says, "These are my primary dice". I can respect that a lot. The raised numbers and design really stand out. They're very easy to read, even at a glance. The paint is vibrant and evenly distributed across the surface, while giving perfect highlight and accenting contrast to the edges. They feel great in the hand, and make an impressive clatter when tossed on the table. Rolls appear to be perfectly random, which indicates that they're evenly weighted and balanced. There's something satisfying about this set that I've never really felt with any other dice sets I've owned.Whether you're a seasoned gamer, or looking for your first set of primary dice, this is a great set to add to your collection.

I purchased the Silver Red metal dice set. The first thing you should know about these dice is that they're weighty and feel very nice in the hand. If you throw one of these at your DM, you're gonna cause some serious damage. The enamel paint is everywhere it's supposed to be, and nowhere that it's not. Nice finish on top suggests they'll last a while with no paint chipping. I haven't noticed any flaws in molding or paint on any of the dice. Numbers are sharp and defined and it's very easy to discern the rolled number at a glance.Each individual die rolls just at (or right above/below) what their statistical average should be. I rolled each die 100 times and recorded the data so you don't have to! I've included the full dataset of the rolls at the bottom of the review, but the average of 100 rolls on each die is as follows:D20 predicted (10.5); actual: 11.53D12 predicted (6.5); actual: 6.49D10 predicted (5.5); actual: 4.64D8 predicted (4.5); actual: 4.58D6 predicted (3.5); actual: 3.66D4 predicted (2.5); actual: 2.49D10 percentile die predicted (50.5); actual: 58.1The D10-shaped dice are the statistical outliers, with the normal D10 consistently rolling about 1 whole point below average, and the percentile die rolling about 8 points high. Maybe I hold the D10 funny, I don't know.I can't speak for the other colors or material types, but overall, I would 100% recommend this dice set. I've already bought a couple more sets in different colors to give as gifts after I tested my set's performance. From my experience, you can't go wrong with these. Nice weight, great paint and finish, easily discernible numbers, and roll just about dead-on their statistical average. Super cool - heavy - attention getting dice. Yeah, we all have more dice than we need, but why not buy a few more? If you decide to buy more, buy these. They are super cool, high quality and fun to roll. The dragons will not come to call when you drop these bad boys on the table. Hey, if you cit fail, it is not my problem, but at least you'll have cooler dice than the poser who rolled a 20.

I love this dice set! I get compliments all the time on how they look and feel, and they’ve become a staple in my game nights. While they’ve certainly betrayed me on a few crucial rolls, they’ve also been responsible for some epic, unforgettable moments—but hey, that’s fate, not the dice!The only thing that threw me off a bit is that the purple isn’t quite as shiny as it looks in the pictures. In real life, it has more of a powder-coated finish rather than a glossy resin look. That said, they still look great, roll well, and feel nice in hand. Maybe I just got a slightly different batch, but either way, I’m happy with them and use them regularly.If you’re looking for a solid, eye-catching set of dice, I’d definitely recommend these!

I like the feel of the dice. They have a solid build, with nice weight to them and roll around in your hand with a fun, satisfying feel. Careful when throwing them, they land heavy. Probably not best for a glass surface or a soft wood one. The edges are not sharp, which makes them easy to roll around in your hand, but I feel like they could still damage some tables if you drop them too hard.They look exactly as they appear on the store page so there weren't any surprises. I mainly bought these for the interesting idea of having color changing dice, but under low light, it's very difficult to perceive the color change, but it does happen. I initially thought they didn't work, but then I took them to better light and saw that they do turn to a very nice blue from exposure to heat. If your session is in a dimly lit room, you may not notice a change.Overall I really like these dice. For the price, they are well worth it. I would give 5 stars if the color change was more pronounced since that was the main reason I bought these dice. That being said, I do recommend them.
