Perfect product!
This thing is wonderful. The User Guide could be a bit more clear about the controls, but overall, this (to me) is well worth the money. It is HEAVY, so expect to park it somewhere where you can always get to it, when needed.

Previously opened and broken product.
It's very funny that my last review never posted???I was sent a broken product. It was very obvious that it had been previously opened. The inner product box had been re-taped. The instruction manual was between the product box and shipping box, therefore outside of the packaging. Upon removal of the product, the front glass plate was broken off.

Very impressive. Other reviewers dirty oil issues not an issue.
I did see bad reviews about the oil getting dirty quickly. The oil does absorb moisture from the food and turns white quickly. The machine has a pump cleaning function. It heats up the oil evaporating the moisture and turning the oil from white to clear. An automatic opening door would be nice but I am so impressed I still give it 5 stars. Very good for single serve bagging. Get something bigger for multiple servings. Love the fact that you can use bags from any supplier. I did a break in oil change at about 1 hour of use. After that used the pump cleaning function. Works great.

Fantastic step up from edge sealing
Absolutely thrilled with this sealer and its easy to use funtionality. Out of the box I was sealing chick roasts and chicken stock perfectly within minutes. I would give the product 5 stars but upon unpacking the glass control faceplate cover had become detached during shipping. Although customer service promply got me in touch with a technician the company did not seem eager to solve the problem and suggested I fix on my own with superglue. It would have been nice if they at least offered to ship me some glue. Also it would be great if the product came with a few bags as samples to help you understand which sizes you wanted to order in quantity.

Works great, slight differences to be aware of.
Does a great job, super quiet compared to my old dry pump machine. Some differences from the machine shown, no lid popper you lift the lid when it’s done. No locking bail for the lid. Not big deals in the grand scheme, just different from the published pictures. Shipping from Ary was hyper fast. No regrets. Order a quart of pump oil with the machine and you’ll be set for a while with this machine.

Very well made except 1 annoying problem
This is my first vacuum sealer. I always try to buy quality equipment, I don't like to have to replace things. It is a perfect size for the two of us, an 8x10, or 8x12 bag holds a perfect amount of a main course for up to 4 servings. We like to cook large quantities then store it in the freezer so we don't have a big kitchen mess daily. Now the food keeps much better, and freezer space is much better utilized. Also this machine is heavy enough to be well constructed, but I decided their larger machine was just too heavy for me to move.Anyway I've found I like the smaller portions, and these bag sizes are inexpensive, and if we have company, we open more. After a year and 8 months. It is the first chamber sealer we have owned, and we love it, except for 1 very annoying issue. At the end of a cycle, the lid is supposed to open, well, if it doesn't because the gas spring they use has a poor finish on the piston rod, and it sticks a little, and after a couple seconds, the machine errors out, and you have to turn it off to reset it, really slowing things down. When I contacted them about it, they told me to open the back and put some oil on the piston rod. It helped for a short time, but I have to reoil it about every other time I use it. I have tried several hi tech lubricants since with only slightly better results. A better gas strut, or one with a little higher force rating would solve the problem, or at least change the logic so it didn't error and force a restart, pushing the lid open would have been much easier, but they have offered no solution. I thought I was purchasing a quality product from a reliable company that would stand behind the product better than they have.
