It's very flexible, easy to expand. Stretches if that's what you're asking. No, it shouldn't tangle. I put it up myself over my catio, tripping over my cats, while they were goofing around playing in it and it didn't tangle. Its really nice, strong netting!

Covering a tree. As the branches grow, whouldnt they cross the net and after that become impossible to remove the net ?

Nets are typically only used while fruit trees are cropping so tree branches are not growing at that time since the tree is putting its energy into ripening fruit. The net should be put on as fruit begins to size up and removed when the fruit has been harvested.

would this keep rabbits out?

I'm not sure since I don't have rabbits;deer are my problem. Rabbits wouldn't be able to get through it as-is. I'm not sure if they could chew through it. They could also get through any gap left in the installation. The netting is nylon and thicker than most, so if you want to use aviary netting this is your best bet. The only alternative I can think of would be something like chicken wire.

Mine is oval shapped, not rectangular as expected so im not able to use as I intended. Are others nets like this?

Yup mine was like that. 100% not a square or rectangle. Terrible purchase as it also gets stuck on EVERYTHING. Grass, sticks, etc.
