Game changer for walking my hyper JRT
This collar and brand was recommended my my dog trainer and I didn’t want to send $45 for a prong collar so I tried a few other and they were too bulky and hard to clip and unclip but this one worked perfectly for my and my pups. From the moment I put the collar on my Jack Russel terrier he’s a different dog no more pulling and correction is a lot easier without having to put any pressure on my pups. Like the collar black for it matches my pups coats. It seams confortable to him and once you get the hang of clipping and un clipping it’s easy breezy. Worth every penny. I must have to stop your dog from leash pulling

Better than chrome HS prong collar
We first bought our dog the chrome Herm Sprenger 3mm prong collar. However, after 5 weeks, the metal started splintering on the d ring to a very sharp point and I almost cut my finger. We were just passed our 30 day return policy so I contacted HS directly. They permitted the return through Amazon and Amazon approved with the exception of a restocking fee.We decided to buy the black stainless steel HS which we originally wanted anyhow. For our gray dog, it doesn't stand out as much, looks a lot cleaner, and coordinates with our stacked collars (prong, ecollar when in use, & herm sprenger clicklock DogLine biothane collar). She wore this black HS prong for 3 weeks at Board and train in addition to 1.5 weeks at home. So far, no issues at all.We have no issue with dexterity so placing on and removing is easy for us.We removed one prong link for a better fit.Highly recommend!

Very Nice!
These are working out beautifully, we have noticed reduced pulling already. It's definitely easier to communicate with them when I am no longer being treated like a kite lol

Exactly what I wanted!
Love the availability of the black on Amazon, looks great on my black lab. Herm Springer quality speaks for itself self! Excellent buy at a great price!

Only prong collar to buy.
This is the best. I was referred by Garrett Wing, a professional dog trainer for police dogs and pets. This product is strong and easy to adjust for the perfect fit. Do have a pro instruct how to fit and use.

Best purchase for when communication isn't clear
Easily one of the best purchases of my dog's life.If you're apprehensive about prong-collars, I have three things to say:1) it's about communication, not punishment2) Buy one and put it on yourself and give it a good tug! You'll see that even when you tug it pretty good, it's more annoying than painful.3) It might be less damaging than just a regular flat collar or harness. When I introduced the prong-color to my German Shepherd, it changed our communication completely. It was like night and day. When I was using the flat collar, it was like it wasn't even registering for him when I gave him corrections because it was far too comfortable for him to just pull on it with full force - to point of choking himself out. With the prong collar, it's like he immediately realized that when I gave him a gentle pop on the collar to remind him not to tug or to ignore something, he knew what I wanted. We even got to point where I could correct him just by him hearing the clinking of the chain when I pulled out the slack in the collar and he would correct his behavior before I even put pressure on him with the collar (because I left more slack than is recommended). He was definitely hurting himself more with a flat collar or a harness than he's ever been hurt by the prong collar and walks are so much more enjoyable now.
