ALITOVE WS2812B WS2811 SPI Signal Amplifier Repeater, for WS2813 SK6812 WS2815 WS2801 RGB Addressable LED Pixel Strip Light and Dream Color Programmable LED Matrix Panel Light DC 5V~24V (SP901E)

I had a situation where I was tracing down issues with a long string of 30mm dome, 12vdc, 2812 pixels, that was not performing the desired program beyond the half way point. The main problem was 22awg wire was used between LED modules, instead of something larger (18awg) to prevent power and signal loss. Instead of rewiring all of the LED modules, I used this SPI signal amplifier around the middle of the string and, so far, it solved the problem. All pixels are performing to their programmed light patterns.

After installing my Alitove 12V addressable LED Strip Lights (https://amzn.to/2JXeEFh) to my Colorfill X2 Controller (https://amzn.to/2Y9CiYj), I was having connection issues due to multiple splices. Adding the sp901e made for much more solid connections, and simplified the whole project. I really wish I had this at the start, would have made my life so much easier. I also recommend using a strong power supply (https://amzn.to/2JYserV) along with thick gage wire (https://amzn.to/2XVd8gK) for your runs, it makes all the difference!

When I ordered it I was worried about the price verses quality. I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy duty it was. I am happy that this device exists because it is exactly what I need for my projects.

This item does exactly what it's supposed to do. I had a long SPI run to make (about 50ft) and needed a signal amplifier to complete it. I added this to the middle of the run and have no errors on the far end anymore.

Works great and exactly how you expect it to.

I needed to connect 5 strips of 16 ft each together and control them at the same time. This worked perfectly paired together with a controller and 5v 60a power supply!

As I added more WS2811 strips, I started experiencing weird problems.Apparently, too much distance and load to be able to connect to the SP110 alone.This fixed everything.

Works exactly as expected! No surprises. The clock and data channels are independent and can be used for two data channels when using 2812 or similar one wire chipsets.
