This kit has everything you need to start doing your own gel nails, including some well-written instructions. I see on their website that they do a similar kit with pale gels. This one came with a really bright red and a black gel which I will never use - unless I go mad at Hallowe’en! It also has a light mauvy-pink gel. Unlike salon gels, these didn’t smell chemical at all. They went on as easily as normal polish. I ordered a set of pale polishes separately and have since ordered some nail wraps (for removing the gel nails). The LED ‘dryer’ is curved and the lights run round the curve on the inside which means the sides of the nails are cured as well as the tops. The LED unit seems very sturdy. The gel nails soaked off with an acetone-based nail polish remover and my nails seem none the worse for it. I have applied gel nails twice now with the kit and the gel has stayed on for at least two weeks. I am very impressed and wish I had bought this product years ago.

A few years ago I invested in a home LED gel nail kit and was lucky to even reach a week without the nails chipping which was so disappointing. Lockdown meant I couldn't get my gel nails done in salon and I was reluctant to invest in home gel nails again but did a search on the system with the best review, which turned out to be Bluesky.I didn't have much hope for this, but was amazed at how easy it was to do the manicure. Less messy and fewer steps than the old kit I used years ago. I am now coming up to 2 weeks after my first manicure and my nails haven't chipped and look fantastic. The polish is thin, so no ugly thick 'home gel nail' look either. I am now investing in more colours and doubt I will ever return to the salon as this is far faster and more affordable.

Bought this kit, having used gel kits previously. Lamp is big enough to get your whole hand, including thumb under. Uk plug. Comes with 3 decent colours, black, red, pink and true to the pics. Kit comes well presented in a box and all products are brand new. Would recommend. I paid full price and feel it’s value for money. Didn’t take long to do my nails, with great results and comes with very clear and simple step by step instructions

I want to give this 5 stars as I love the product. My nails look natural and so much stronger than my own which means I can grow them! The only reason I have given it four is that it comes with Top Coat, Base Coat and 3 colours, when you go to their site the colours are £7.50 each, which means there is 20 or so pounds of nail varnish in the kit, which is great unless you wouldn't wear those colours! I would never wear black, unlikely to wear the bright red, and not that keen on the thick fleshy coloured one! Why don't they just give you a chance when purchasing to chose 2 or 3 colours to add to the basket for free? I don't know what to do with my 2 nail varnishes now ( the third I may use), on top of that I have to buy more that I do like. I think they need to re think this. But I would recommend the kit, as the UV/LED light is great as is the gel nails themselves.

This does the job you want so easily. Clear instructions and normal sized bottles of polish (not those silly 5m bottles!). I do need to get used to using much less liquid on the brush though, but this will come with practice. The equipment was great…. the finished product will improve as my technique does. No fault with the kit whatsoever. Great value for money; it’ll save me a fortune!

After getting my nails done professionally a few times recently I definitely caught the wanting to have lovely nails all the time bug. The last time I paid £25 to have them professionally done and one chipped in under a week (I was so gutted!) so I figured I'd give a DIY at home a go and settled on this set as it would only take a couple of trips to the salon to cover the price.It's one of the more expensive starter sets I've seen on amazon but I would definitely recommend this brand. So far I've done my nails twice and am so happy with the results. They easily last two weeks and I only removed them to have a change of colour. I find them easier than normal nail polish as you don't have to sit around waiting to dry/cure. Just 30/60 seconds under the UV lamp and your ready for your next coat or good to go. I think it takes patience to do them neatly so set up a tv show in the background so you can take your time. I'm no where near salon level at painting my nails (yet!) but I think this is a brilliant at home and much more affordable way to do it.

So pleased with this purchase that was to compliment the nail gel builder set and other gel polishes I brought.You really don't get any burn from these LED/UV nail lamps, the polish and builder cures everytime, plus it looks so sleek and sexy, plenty of room to do your toes under too.Nail files are professional, as is the whole kit.Haven't tried the polishes that came with it yet as bought other colours from the same brand and if they are anything to go by, then they will be just as fabulous.I really do recommend buying this kit along with the BLUESKY NAIL GEL BUILDER KIT, one of my favourite purchase in a long time.Totally professional kit but can be used for those of us who aren't professional Nail Artists.Can't recommend this product enough, not the polishes or nail builder gel set by the same brand 💯.10/10❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Did my research and this was rated highly, got it on Amazon when it had a discount but honestly it's worth full price. Really good kit, works just as good as a salon gel (you have to practice though... my first few attempts were awful 😆). I also bought extra cleanser wipes and I got some of the removal wraps which were so easy to use. I did notice that my nails weren't as solid as salon, but I also bought the Hard Gel from this brand and you now can't tell the difference between my home kit and a salon gel manicure.
