Deer gut knife
The Gerber I like the best from other saws I've used. They bright orange trim and handle is a big bonus a lot of time we are gutting at night. I don't pay attention as good as I should were I sit it down the orange makes it much easier to find. It works great on the pelvic and the brisket. Safer and easier than trying to get through those areas with your knife and also save on the blade of your knife. The pouch is easy to clean after use in the sink or a lot of times I just through it in the washer with my cloths I gutted with. Saw stays sharp for several seasons and are cheap enough when they finally do get dull I just buy a new one. Typically though I accidentally loose them before they go dull but that's on me.

Great handle and hook shaped blade
Bought this after having to field dress a deer with a small edc semi sharp knife. This will make it so much easier. The handle is great because things get slick when covered in fluids. Its a solid build and sharp out of the package. It comes with a sheath that'll keep you from accidental cuts which is nice since it has a unique shape. The sheath has a nylon loop so that it can be attached to a belt or perhaps a bag with a strap. People skin and field dress with all sorts of methods but this will help make it easier regardless of method. The curve of the blade is perfect for skinning and also for jabbing the blade in to slide a hard to reach area.

Portable and light but slow.
This saw is small and light enough to be tucked away in a pack, but will not replace a good hack saw at the cabin. The hook-design at the end of the blade does help keep the saw on the bone though. It's a good design and very light. The grip is very comfortable and the included case is a good fit.

Good knife
I used this knife for skinning and quartering an elk. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I basically made it through the entire elk (it was a bit on the small size) with one blade. It stayed sharp the entire time and was easy to hold.Pros: super sharp, long lasting, light weight, blades changed easily, great for skinning and cutting meatCons: I broke my blade trying to cut around the neck bone (could have been user error), took a little bit of effort to clean once i got home, the replacement blades are in a cartridge that is easy to loose and misplace (which I did, there isn't anything to clip or tie it to), the blade is a bit small (cutting surface)Overall, this knife was great. I was able to apply good pressure on the knife and still feel safe. I think that someone should practice using the knife on something else before using it to process game. My strokes were a bit short and I ended up messing up some of the back strap because I wasn't using a solid cutting stroke (again, my error). I wish the blade had a little more cutting surface. you loose about 3/4 of an inch due to the connecting mechanism. It really wasn't a big issue, I found that it was a little annoying.Am I going to use this knife again, yes. Will I still keep my other knife handy, yes. Mainly for cuts that are around/through bone.

Perfect for hunting season
This is my go to blade for the hunting seasons but also to have in my truck for work, blades are SHARP and don't break easy under pressure. The handle has food grip and blade switching is easy and manageable and love that it comes with a carrier to store away the knife and blades.

Very nice design I do believe the Gerber Vital Folding Knife ...
Very nice design I do believe the Gerber Vital Folding Knife has a superior design to the Havalon Piranta Folding Knives. I have used both and do not like how dangerouse it is to change the blades on the Havalon not to metion you need to carry a Leatherman to help with the blade changing. The Gerber Vital design allows for an efortless blade exchange without the need for another tool to do the process. Just push one little button and the blade slides out effortlessly. No more risky blade changes when your hands are dirty and wet. It will take any of the blades that the Havalon uses even the fillet knife blades you just can't fold the knife shut with the longer blades. I just use the longer blades when needed the put he regular blade back on after cleaning the knife. Very functional and a breeze to use feels good in the hand and it is so light and slices so smoothly that I can use it without the usual hand pain from my authritus. Been working on converting all my friends from the Havalon to the Gerber Vital I do believe I am making a believer out of most of them.

Gerber saw
After breaking my second folding Gerber saw in two years, I have gone to a non-folding saw. It's well designed and will do the job nicely...
