Stop researching and just get these!
As strange as it sounds, I think I spent about a combined 9 hours researching sleds on Amazon before making this purchase. What the heck did we do without the internet?? That being said, these sleds seem to have the most favorable reviews. Not knowing what to expect, when I opened the box, I could not believe how sturdy they felt for being a foam board. The colors are vibrant. Really cool design that the kids loved. We have a boy and a girl and they really dug these things. We've only used them once, so I can't attest to the long-term durability, but I will say that they seem extremely sturdy, they glide wonderfully on the snow, are easy to carry back up, have a really durable rope, and an adult and a child fit very comfortably. All-in-all, especially for the price, you can't beat these! So hopefully I've saved someone else hours of sled searching!

My grand kids wanted this second pair for when friends come over. The first pair (5 yrs old), are still in great shape in spite of our 500 foot gully. I can recommend them.
