Erigaray Men's 100% Pure Wool Classic Manhattan Trilby Dress Fedora Hats

The hats are a good price for a wool hat, that's no doubt. The quality is not very high, but the shape of the hat is super cool. That's its saving grace. But the issue here is the packaging. Amazon just popped the two I bought into a too small box on top of each other with the brims folded up by the box sides. Luckily I was able to salvage mine but it could just have easily gone the other way. Be ready to do some work to recover these with some steam or laying some books on the brim to flatten them back out. I got lucky with mine and I'm pretty happy. For a nicely shaped wool hat you can't beat it. But this will be for a casual outfit. If you need a hat for a suit or dressier occasions I would look elsewhere and prepare to spend more. For a knock around hat for casual dress these are great if you get them in salvageable condition.

Great hat, color (camel) and size. I wear this Trilby Hat for head warmth in the winter all the time. Very stylish too.If you want to shape your own hat according to your head size and style, try using either a professional-quality steam machine with distilled water, (the steam from a hot water kettle also works), OR some distilled water (no hard minerals in it to discolor the hat) very lightly sprayed (with a quality water sprayer) on the hat and then shape it and leave it in the shaped portion up against a something until the hat dries. It does work, I have two colors of these hats and have shaped them easily. The finely sprayed distilled water is the best way to shape this wool, and the shaping lasts, once the wool is dry. The width is accurate and acceptable but when you put the hat on, the depth is fit for a child. It sits about 3 inches above your eyebrows.This is not a traditional fedora design, it's a fail-made-in-china replica product. It probably fits Asian women just fine but it's definitely not measured properly to be an actual fedora.It's a nice hat for 10 year olds though. In fact, it should be marketed as a kid's hat...Waste of money if you're an adult male like me and just wanted a nice fedora.

It arrived in a bag. It needed to be reshaped a bit. It is very soft, a bit too soft, perhaps. I may try a hat stiffner spray, eventually. It must run a bit large but it has an adjustable band which makes it okay. I'm a 5 and 7/8. This is the only hat sized as large that has felt a bit too large on this head of mine. But it looks great. Dynamite color. Fun to wear. Jazzy. Looks great on my adult son, too. Makes blue eye color pop.

Product looks just as advertised, perfect color i was looking for. When unboxing I noticed the crown was crushed but was able to easily pop most of it back out to shape. But there seems to be a permanent crease at the top, that’s only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. The brim isn’t too wide which is exactly what i was looking for. Good purchase especially for it’s price.

Brim does not turn down properly

Boooo! This item was one of those on Amazon that is totally misrepresented through minimal information given and angled pics that really don't satisfy curiosity. The only reason I tried it was because it was so cheap. Thank God. I collect fedoras, and I'm seriously considering giving this one to my dog as a chew toy.

I liked the condition the hat arrived in. Very nice. Wish had come with a nice stylish feather, but I had extras from older hats I have purchased. I have been advised to spray some 3M spray on the hat because once it rains it will lose its shape. i am impressed with the quality of the hat. i have purchased the same quality for $100 more over at the Hat Shop in Seattle. I am satisfied. Looks nice.
