Useful PVC to 3/4" MHT Adapter can connect to 1" pipe or 1 1/4" hub
There are two ways this adapter can be connected to a PVC pipe. The stated method is to slip a nominal 1" PVC pipe into the slip fitting. In addition to that use, because the outside diameter of the slip end is the same as the outside diameter of a nominal 1 1/4" PVC pipe, the adapter can be slipped into a 1 1/4" hub, coupling, or flex coupling.

Adapter for garden hose
I used this for putting a garden hose one one end of a 1 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, and a graduated nozzle on the other end and tunneled under my patio concrete. Worked like a charm!
