INEW Youth V8 5.5" IPS MTK6591 6-Core Android 4.4 Phone 18MP Rotatable Camera 1GB RAM 16GB ROM

I have had one of these phones since February. It has not had a software update since September of last year. No hope of getting anymore either. Glitches galore. For some reason the price has nearly doubled on amazon since I bought it, the price used to match inew's site. They have actually reduced the cost of the "plus" version of this phone to below the price for this cheaper phone on amazon.The placement of the sensor to detect when you have it to your ear is not good. I and my wife had problems with the screen turning on mid call, settings getting changed and call being dropped. Also, the gps sensor is inaccurate. It often shows the phone being almost 300-400 feet away from the location causing constant redirecting issues on the interstate because the phone thinks it is on roads away from the interstate. These things are not a problem in the oppo.After all of the negative, time for the positive. I like the camera, especially once I replaced the camera app and can now use the camera at full resolution in all positions instead of clipped when in the front facing position like with the oem app. The camera build and rotation mechanism "feels" better than the oppo that this clones. I've had both.

Phone is defective. When it arrived it looked nice. I turned on the phone and it said the touch-pad for camera rotatory was not working. I tried fixing as instructed on the booklet but didn't help. The phone turns off and on randomly and cuts out my calls by turning off and restarting it. It glitches all the time. Phone didnt work with any sim cards I tried. Reception is terrible! You can't hear well at all when on a call and cut off calls randomly. I never was refunded. They denied I bought the phone from them. This company has TWO names and I see they jacked up the price. All the 5 STAR reviews are phony! I contacted iNew and if you bought this phone I would contact them too and let them know who is selling their phones on Amazon, and/or copying their products with such bad quality!

It's more than I could have wanted c:It's not a brand that's known where I live and I get so many people asking where I got it and they compliment the fantastic display and how fast it runs :D

OMG , this phone is super cheap and very good ! , fast, good battery , good camera . Inew is a clon of Oppo ( chinesse brand) , but they do a very good job .
