Great, kid-friendly product!
My four and seven year old girls find this pen easy to use. I find it safe, simple and a great value. When purchasing filament be sure to buy the right kind! Low temperature filament is required. Read the directions before purchasing more filament.

Two pens, both broke twice in under 24 hours
Absolute junk! We got one for Christmas and the thing came clogged. We put red in and white stuff started coming out first and then it just stopped, could t get anything to ever come out again.2 weeks later I got a new one and this one wouldn’t hold a charge for more than 5 min even after charging for half the day. We had to leave it plugged in to make it work. Not even 24 hours later and now this one is clogged too and we can’t get anything to get out. I don’t know if it’s just the junior version of this pen that’s total crap but they have entirely lost my business. I’ll be purchasing another brand. There’s no excuse for such a shoddily made product.

Great product
My second purchase from MYNT3D. I got this lower powered one for my grandson. Great quality! Easy to use and good to promote creativity.

if you want to be exact with creations don't buy this product.
it is a good value for the money but is difficult to to make exact things. if you want it to look perfect than you should not buy it, but if you are buying it for a child than it is defiantly with it. my son loves to mess around with it and make cool things with it. but I would recommend only between ages 6-14 because bound those ages would like it as much as a kid would in my opinion. but overall it was a fun toy and good buy.

This pen has potential...
We were very happy with this pen at first. It seemed very good for beginners, didn’t get too hot and it worked pretty well. Within a few days the pen became clogged and it stopped extruding. There were directions in the manual to take the pen apart, we tried that. The nozzle is one solid piece and there was no way to clear the clog. So we put it back together and kept trying. We had to start the pen up over and over again and a tiny bit of plastic would come out each time but would not continue. So we had to turn it off and start it, turn it off and start it etc... until the clog finally melted and the plastic began to extrude freely again. My daughter is now quite bored with it and doesn’t even bother. We also were a little unhappy with the small amount of filament included. We felt like there should have been a few more colors. I think they should keep trying to perfect this pen. It has potential.

Good first 3D pen
Good option for a first 3D pen. Drawing is definitely a learning curve &, requires skill and practice but, it burns and comes out even & comes with quite a bit of filament. It has easy to operate buttons but requires a plug in block for the usb.

Never worked as expected
This 3D never worked quite right. It would randomly shut off during use. Also it doesn't hold a charge for very long at all. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, now it is May and she can no longer use it because the battery will not hold a charge.Other than all the problems the pin was safe to use. It didn't get to hot nor was the filament.

Item stopped working almost immediately
The first one of these we bought literally stopped working after a cpl seconds. No big deal, stuff happens, returned it and had a new one sent out. Well that one worked for about 10 minutes and then stopped working also. It would try to feed the line in but nothing would come out. There are barely instructions sent with it and I tried to even take it apart to see if I could figure out what was going on. For some reason they give instructions for taking it apart but not what to do with it after you get it apart to troubleshoot it. I emailed and called and left a message with the company but never received a response so I returned this one also but for a refund this time. I am going to end up spending more to buy a better quality item since this one is obviously junk and my daughter was pretty excited to get it as a Christmas gift.
