Easy to fit and works well.
I've just bought a second set for yet another toy chest. These stays are simple to fit and work very well indeed.My only comment is that the fitting instructions are hard to find (they are printed on the clear plastic bag) and it would be much simpler, and easier to read, if they were printed on a slip of white paper.Other than that minor point- it's an excellent product

Not soft close
Definitely not a soft close. More soft opening. Still let's lid crash shut.

Toy Box Lid Application
I bought this as per the product description that it was suitable for a soft close lid on a toy box. It seems to be designed to hold up very heavy desk lids or kitchen doors rather than a light weight toy box lid.

Works well with a heavy lid
Great for a heavy ottoman lid. Take note of the force required to close the hinge - it wouldn't be any good for a toy box but is perfect for something heavier.
