PERFECT FOR INTERMEDIATE/PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS
GREAT SOUND! Perfect for Intermediate and Professional players. Now, don’t get me wrong, they’re tons of other options for a great mouthpiece but this one being my first REAL purchase I am pleased and very into playing my jazz and classical style music with it. I will say however, it is NOT a good option for a BEGINNER saxophone player. I suggest the Yamaha 4C for that, BUT it is a good option for a BEGINNER mouthpiece investor after years of playing like myself

Not happy overall! - Myers
I found this mouthpiece a little limiting. The ligature literally would slide off the reed after tightened it and fitting was a lot tighter than the two others I have and smashed down my cork when I tried to put it on.It has a deeper tone and also found it limited in the lower range of the horn. I have a Yamaha mouthpiece on it now I paid a lot less for and will continue to use it over this one. I returned it.

This is a great sound mouthpiece. This G style mouth piece sound better than its overpriced NY version. No you will not sound like Paul Desmond but you will have a unique sound with the right articulation. The rivals would be Otto Link * and Claude Lakey mouth piece, Claude Lakey price better and sounds better.Price is okay market wise, but I do feel they are all over priced. These feel like a good $45 at best. I have a stock Eastman mouth piece that sound just as good as these $150+ MP.But the sound search continues.

Mouthpiece work great!!!
I read a lot of reviews from many different websites and forums when I was looking for a mouthpiece. On amazon, I found the one review I was looking for regarding any mouthpiece. The reviewer wrote he could put any reed on it, and it played. And so, I bought the Meyer G. Couldn't be happier!!!!!

Good choice for intermediate player.
Nice mouthpiece, plenty of volume, takes a bit more air than a Yamaha 5c and the tip opening is a hair bigger than the 4c.

Very good
Very good. It has a bright sound. Good projection with legere studio reeds

My $35 Yamaha 4C and 5C mouthpieces are far more assisting in getting that "Paul Desmond" sound than this $135 Meyer G style
Couldn't get any good sound with several of my favorite reeds. My $35 Yamaha 4C and 5C mouthpieces are far more assisting in getting that "Paul Desmond" sound than this $135 Meyer G style.
