Small but accurate
I agree with other reviews that it is small and a bit hard to read but I will say it is spot on accurate. The obvious down side is reading it but the plus side is it tucks away in the tool bag because of its small size. Overall I will most likely buy more of these for the rest of my employees. So overall 5 stars.

Very accurate and extremely durable.
My father-in-law purchased this nearly 60 years ago. He was a professional electrician with a depth of experience. He used this device often.When he passed 30 years ago it was passed it on to me. The leather case is nearly worn out but the gauge is extremely accurate.Why am I writing this review...primarily because I thought to replace it with "something modern" and my search was unsuccessful. There are good digital calipers out there but nothing that has all the functions this little jewel has and certainly not in as small a size.If this one ever wears out, which is doubtful -- I would immediately replace it with this unit.

Cheaply assembled, hard to read
It’s handy to have for wire sizes, but you need a flashlight and magnifying glass to read the little hash marks and stamps.And I feel like it going to fall apart.It would be an ok deal if it costed 9.99
