First time experience with this product

Cord is well constructed, sturdy, passes a clean signal. Only real complaint is the distance between the two "Y"ed ends. It doesn't reach the backs of two studio monitors even when they are side by side. Other than that, I'd highly recommend.

One of my m main concerns with any xlr splitter is quality of connectivity and I've been through many different brands and most have been a disappointment, either continuity of the split or quality of hardware. Well this splitter has surely surpassed expectations for the value. I use these from source to speakers, preamp and controllers and they work great.My only minor disappointment was when I ordered these I thought it was a pair of splitters (nice play on words).

Running bnc to xlr, then to this splitter from an optimod 8000 into a stereo BEXT unit. The cable works just fine, and has added no new line noise.Over pleased. Imagine I will order another 1 or 2 to have on hand.I did not see anything in the listing about sheilding, but in a high rf environment it behaves like it is.

If you are like me, you are crazy, and I’m so sorry. Although you might understand how I feel about this more than any “normal” person. I’m into home audio. Audiophile is a silly term coz sometimes it doesn’t apply here really. Actually the opposite in a way.. Like in the case of this connector. And more. I was connecting a subwoofer to a preamp that has only balanced outputs, and no tape loop. It doesn’t have dual outputs. Just a left and a right XLR out. I have a drawer-full of “Y” connectors, but they are all RCA type unbalanced. Like me. Unbalanced. Ha ha. Anyway, I go online to all my trusted websites and all they offer are these Y-connectors that are high-end gold-plated silver solder cryogenically treated Halal/Kosher wired vegan NASA grade approved connectors. I didn’t need that! I know, everything in audio matters and we should always shop for the best, but as long as this connector, er, connects, it will be fine. And it was fine! Best of all, I’m an Amazon Prime member, so of course I want to connect my sub NOW. I would have preferred that Amazon have some control over the space time continuum and so I would have been able to get the connector YESTERDAY! Thank you SiYear (I bet that’s a Chinese company, and probably why it’s so inexpensive, but I’m in no financial position to spend more just to make a point, at least not now. I mean yesterday). And thank you Amazon Prime. Not for having Amazon Prime, because by the looks of Jeff Bezos’ net worth, he could be charging a hell of a lot less for the service and STILL make a hefty profit. But thanks for inventing the service, coz now I can listen to music like it should be heard. Today.

I was able to use these balanced XLR connectors with my Denafrips DAC to feed into a Solid State and Tube Amp separately. Now I don't have to disconnect my XLR cables to use both amps.This solution allows me to use the amp that I want to listen to without doing any cable reconfigations everytime. Made my life easy! ❤️Also, there isn't any audio drops or loss in quality using my HiFi streamer and the Denafrips with these cables.Great solution!
