Surprising Value in the Most Basic 2 in 1
I like this thing. Not going to lie; it is a crap-top. But for the price I am very impressed. I don't want to spend real money on a 2 in 1 until I "test drive" the touch screen / tiny baby keyboard thing.Awww! Wook at doze widdle-biddy-baby keys! I can barely type on dem!I digress. My expectations were low. Build quality is adequate; but I would not trust it with a kid. It feels fragile. Others complain about it being slow to load web pages. It is essentially a low level smartphone with an 11" screen. I don't see a huge penalty web browsing compared to my big laptop. The portability makes it worth it.It runs Cisco anyconnect VPN and connects to my workstation just fine. No one year free software bundles here. Basically a naked windows 10.PROS: Dirt cheap (especially if you find a refurb) reasonable battery life Touch screen responds very well This will be great for travel. Break it, steal it, who cares? The real computer is back home.CONS: No 5G WiFi capability Touchpad driver can't turn off tap to click Charger surprisingly big Screen feels tacky without a film installed 32 bit OS

DO NOT PLACE HIGH EXPECTATIONS ON AND/OR OVERESTIMATE INEXPENSIVE, MOBILE HARDWARE.
Considering I've had this thing for a few weeks now, I feel it's only fitting to describe the cons first, before I get into why I view this as a five star product. So. The Cons:» Windows 10. The system that the RCA Cambio 11.6 you get here comes with drastically slows down this tablet-laptop combo and does it absolutely ZERO justice. 100% disk usage, tons of space absolutely devoured by Windows 10's files alone, and a couple of other issues I won't get into. Fortunately with a quick update to Windows 10, a couple of steps to tweak your Windows 10 system under the hood (you can find a few tutorials online for these things) and removal of your "Windows.Old" folder, this "con" can be easily resolved.» The Keyboard failing or otherwise not working properly. I did have this problem a couple times at first. I was able to fix this with a little bit of optimism and patience. Turns out, my keyboard just wasn't seated properly, meaning that this problem can be fixed with some gentle force or even a couple of gentle wiggles between the tablet and the keyboard it comes with. Nothing drastic, just *GENTLE* wiggles and taps.» The Cameras. This may have been my fault due to me updating a lot of the drivers and installing some other programs on the RCA Cambio. Regardless, whether it was my fault or the seller's fault, I was able to fix this with some patience and optimism (the same type mentioned above) by looking around online for some up-to-date drivers for the cameras. My cameras aren't exactly high quality, but this could be related to an error on my behalf and the driver that I found and installed, I don't know for sure. With the most notable cons out of the way, lets look at the PROS of this thing now, and good lord was I absolutely blown away. Before I start with the pros, it's worth noting that this device only has a QUAD CORE CPU and integrated graphics, meaning that it's not meant to run games like a desktop or handle HD videos like a desktop can. Despite the lack of dedicated graphics (a graphics card), I was, as mentioned previously, absolutely blown away by what the RCA Cambio is capable of.» 1366x768 HD Resolution tablet at 50Hz. To help put into perspective how awesome this detail is, this tablet is on par with a 1280x720 HD Resolution desktop at 60Hz. This means buttery smooth visuals on videos and even game play for many games built for mobile users and even lower end (or old) computers.» 1.33GHz Quad Core CPU + 2GB DDR3 RAM running at 1333MHz. While this doesn't seem crazy compared to most laptops and desktops laying around, it's enough to not only run multiple moderately sized tasks simultaneously, but to leave room to spare to actually game or communicate with your friends over things like Discord, assuming you're able to put up with the mild frame rate drops or lag in communication, after all, this is a tablet we're talking about. Google, Windows 10 and Discord are all notorious for eating up Disk Usage, RAM and the CPU the last time I checked. So I find these nuisances to only be minor setbacks and- for what this product can do? Beyond forgivable (this thing is a little beast).» Compatibility with a USB Bus & MULTIPLE external devices. Not only was I able to hook up a 4-way USB Bus successfully, but I was also able to hook up a gaming mouse and a 32 GB USB stick through it (and I bet $$$ that I could hook up 2 or more extra USB devices too) and Earphones via an audio jack to effectively turn the RCA Cambio into an extremely lightweight, mobile gaming and communications setup.» Resilient Battery Life. While powering multiple USB devices, while running multiple processes in the background both heavy and light, such as Steam, Discord, Google and even Roblox Studio for development stuffs, and then after shutting these processes down, running a few matches of modded Quake 3 Arena by id Software at max settings for over 2 or 3 hours, I lost track of the time, I still had a 40 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes left of battery life. Granted most of the time the screen brightness was as low as it could go.» This is just four of the pros I noticed, there are more that this thing can offer, like fast WiFi (fast enough to play the aforementioned Quake 3 Arena on multiplayer servers seamlessly), but that's likely already a given in today's society. So here's the take away:Can it run Crysis and Livestream on the go? I highly doubt it, so no.Can I communicate over Discord while I work? More than likely yes.DO NOT PLACE HIGH EXPECTATIONS ON AND/OR OVERESTIMATE INEXPENSIVE, MOBILE HARDWARE.If you came here expecting this product to act and operate like a mobile computer capable of competitive gaming, then this won't work for you. It's not designed to handle competitive gaming, nor is it designed to in any way shape or form run like a modern desktop computer or laptop. Now if you came here expecting it to work for a young child for lightweight games to teach them about the world, or just entertain them for your own sanity, or simply to finish up essays while you're not at a computer, or even help you with your office job, then yes, more than likely, this is perfect for you, granted you can overlook some of the possible cons listed above.I personally purchased this product as a means of updating games on a children's site while away from home, and to keep myself entertained while out at family gatherings or events when things slow to a crawl, IE: everyone starts talking about things I simply can't understand or in any way relate to. I was pleasantly surprised to find though that after I fixed the cons and the problems I came across, then pushed its limits as far as I was confident pushing it to in order to understand what it could and couldn't do, it ran like a bite sized version of my Desktop rig. I did willingly buy a Windows 10 laptop-tablet combo well aware of the cons everyone in the reviews & comments were talking about. I found that these same issues that I came across, I could fix.As a result of all the following, this product has earned a five star rating by my account because, for what I paid for, I have been able to do (and thus feel as though I've received) much, MUCH more than what I expected and was able fix every problem I came across thus far with a little bit of patience. I would confidently recommend this product to anyone looking for something like this. Absolutely amazing.

Very good tablet laptop, good, seller ships very quickly and it is new, never been opened up
This is a very good laptop tablet. This thing allows good 200GB micro SDs to work and transfer. It's excellent Windows and work better than the "Cambio 10.1inch"

Slow, causes eye strain....but dirt cheap.
I bought this exclusively to show musical notes and lyrics for when my band practices. For this is does the trick nicely. But I would never consider this tablet for every day web surfing, media watching etc. First off, the display wreaks havoc on the eyes. Eye fatigue kicks in almost instantly when using . If you’re used to Retina display from Apple, this will really be a step down. Also it’s pretty slow . I reduced all display settings for fastest performance and it’s still miles behind a higher end tablet. So to sum up . It’s really cheap. Which is good . If you want to use it for something which requires very little cpu usuage, and you don’t mind the eye strain then go for it. Otherwise spend a few more bucks and get a 2nd hand iPad .Like all things, you really get what you pay for .
