4 in 1 soil moisture meter, a professional tool for testing soil pH, soil moisture level, soil thermometer and sunlight intensity. With this tool you can easily know whether the plants grow in the most suitable environment, and take good care of your plants. The soil pH tester is accurately, high efficiency, and quickly display data on LCD, Apply to garden, lawn, yard, vegetable, succulents indoor & outdoor plants etc. Please pay more attention: If you test your plant and find that the pH always is 6.9 or 7, please don't feel strange, because the ph value of most potted plant is the normal value. Only in acidic or alkaline soils will there be different values. Then usually our houseplant is normal ph vaule. Data Range: 1.Sunlight 9 Levels: LOW-, LOW, LOW+, NOR-, NOR, NOR+, HGH-, HGH, HGH+. 2. Moisture : 5 levels, DRY+, DRY, NOR, WET, WET+. 3. pH Acidity : 4.0 to 9.0 pH pH =7 indicates a neutral soil; below pH <7 --- acidic soil; Above pH >7 --- alkaline soil; 4.Temperature : -9℃ to 50℃(16℉ to 122℉).How to use: 1.Choose which data do you want to test: ➤ Switch the button on the back to PH position to display the pH. ➤ Switch button on Moisture/TEMP to display the moisture and temperature.2. Stick the probe into the soil3. Press ON button to start the digital ph soil tester 4. Note read the moisture/pH/light level/temperature on the LCD display 5. Remove probe from soil and clean after use Tips:✿ The 4 in 1 soil pH meter only can be used in soil, Do not immerse the product into water.✿ Press the ℃/℉ & Off button to change temperature unit, hold button for 3S to turns off the soil moisture meter. ✿ Note that remember to clean to retest after each use, when it is not use put on the protecting bushing.Package : 1* 4-in-1 Soil Test Kit1* 9V battery 1* Manual 1* Protecting Bushing

Poor Design
Arrived undamaged and decently fast and packaged decently. This Product does not automatically shut its self down so battery dies overnight, The Built-in light meter is useless If you're not going to add Lux of Lumens in a digital readout why even bother. Temp is off my 6 degrees F and the PH function is also pretty lame and can't be trusted .. Ontop of not turning out to work properly my meter after a few uses doesn't power on at all now so totally broken such i waste of money i had to try hopefully this will help the next person so they dont make the same mistake i did

Good, but needs some improvements
I bought this meter primarily to monitor the pH and soil moisture of the garden soil where I want to grow blueberries. Blueberries require an acidic soil, so I need to add sulfur and monitor the pH change. Blueberries are also intolerant of dry soils, so I need to measure soil moisture at the root level. I selected this unit because it displays pH with a resolution of 0.1 units and has a fairly long probe. All the other meters I looked at used analog meters with closely spaced markings that appeared to be readable to a resolution of only about 0.25 pH units. I have no way to verify the accuracy of this meter, but clearly low resolution makes high accuracy impossible. This meter settled to its final display value within 10 or 20 seconds, rather than "up to 10 minutes" as called out for the analog meters. However, I found that the digital display is difficult to read when viewed from above. If I insert the probe into the ground vertically, I cannot read the display unless I lay on my belly and look at it straight on. If I insert it into the ground at a 45 degree angle then the display is readable without laying on my belly. But then I cannot sense pH and moisture to as great a depth as I would like. Also, the light and moisture readouts are not consistent. Moisture readouts are DRY+, DRY, NOR, WET, and WET+ in order of increasing moisture. Light readouts are LOW-, LOW, LOW+, NOR-, NOR, NOR+, HGH-, HGH, and HGH+ in order of increasing light levels. The confusion arises because for moisture readings DRY+ indicates less moisture than DRY but for light readings LOW+ indicates more light than LOW.For a product being sold in the USA it is a minor annoyance that this meter always turns on with temperature units of degrees C rather than degrees F. It should default to degrees F or turn on using the same temperature units that were selected when it turned off. The temperature readout agreed with another thermometer I have to within one degree F at room temperature. I could never get the light display to show LOW- even in an almost totally dark room.I plan to keep this meter because of its high resolution (and hopefully high accuracy) pH display. But it would benefit greatly from some easily implemented improvements as described above.

Better than popular cheap models
I bought this to replace the cheap popular model that I bought earlier. I like the ease of use and digital readout.

Very inaccurate
Particularly for moist level.

Did I get a lemon?
Three functions seem to work except for the moister censor. It seems to be stuck on the Dry setting. Placing it in a can of water show DRY! Now I have to decide if I want to go through the hassle of returning it or just eating the cost?
