I purchased this product for my 93-year-old mother who suffered from bedsores. She suffers from dementia and I care for her and was concerned when I discovered she was developing bed sores because she was lying on the couch so much during the day. In addition to daily walking (which is difficult for her but I added it anyway), this cream, and sheepskin sleeping mats, the bedsores no long occur. It really is amazing. I've had a problem with a re-occurring bacterial infection on my lower legs for ten years and this medication cleared it up. I won't ever be without it. It's pricey but well worth it if you want cuts and rashes to clear up quickly and permanently.Additional comments and update (1/30/2020): I've bought this product five times now. Recently I reviewed many of the comments looking for one specifically referring to cellulitis. Evidently, the product cleared up the cellulitis (a potentially dangerous infection caused by skin bacteria penetrating a break in the skin and usually appearing on the lower legs). Reading through the comments I was amazed that there should be any negative reviews. To follow are a few with rebuttals: (1) the ointment is pricey. Okay, I'll give you that. It's not cheap (maybe a good thing?); (2) It burns the skin. Huh!? There is NO burning sensation of any kind. NONE. (3) It aggravates a condition. Once again, Huh!? I used it on my right leg which developed cellulitis--I cleaned the area twice a day with hydrogen peroxide (the first time, closing up the seepages with 30% pharmacy-grade hydrogen peroxide, a questionable practice, I know), and, using it like a cream, spread the Terrasil over the entire lower right leg. I did this for 10 days, 2x daily (after the first session I used 3% hydrogen peroxide) and this very dangerous infection cleared up. It completely eliminated my mother's bedsores without expensive doctor visits. So, just my two cents worth: I am simply mystified as to the negative reviews. And if anyone did have an adverse reaction, I would think that before using any topical medication, a person would test a very small area first to see if any allergic reaction or some other kind of negative response occurs before applying it liberally on the body.

I normally don’t write reviews too quickly, in case the item fails me later, but this was much needed and quick to work! I’ve had folliculitis for a number of years now. When it started, I thought it was acne and my doc told me otherwise. It was minimal at first, near the bottom of my panty line, where my Burt meets my legs. I work and sit at a desk for 12 to 24 hours, and most often wearing tight yoga pants. My doc gave me an antibiotic, which worked over a 10 day script, but the folliculitis returned a couple weeks later.Over the last couple years, it’s gotten worse and I had read and tried using coconut oil for the inflammation. It did work but only enough to dull the redness. I increased showers, started wearing loser clothing while working, it never fully went away. This week it got more serious than ever. There were areas so red, they were almost purple. I freaked and started searching for a remedy. I found Terrasil Antibacterial Skin Repair 3x. I paid and had it shipped same day. Nothing right away, a few hours later, slight lightening to some of the red areas, but not much. By the next morning, applied 2x at that point the day before, I couldn’t believe the difference!!!!! I’m only 12 hours, the redness and swelling was down by 50%!!! 12 hours!!! I also showered right before both applications and used a wash with Salicylic Acid in it (Neutrogena oil free face wash), as I had read that would help. I was in disbelief! I have a ways to go, but now I believe that this is all I’ll need going forward. To date, I’ve been using this for 3 straight days, 2x a day, showering before each application, and my guess would be that it’s about 70% gone! In just three days!!! I ordered another tube because I know I’ll need it. I do wish they had other sizes available, but at this point, I’m just happy to find something that works!!!! Thank you, creators of this miracle product!!!! And thank you for making it over the counter!!!!!!For any skeptics out there, do not worry or hesitate! This is your answer!! 😁

Knocking one star off because the tube is so small it looks like it belongs in a dollhouse. It's so expensive for the size. However, it really makes the skin smooth and relieves any irritation. It doesn't have fragrance which is good for sensitive skin. Pretty good consistency. No doubt this is a good brand but just not sure why the product is so small.
