Mid-Century Modern Living Room Large Accent Chair with Footrest/Storage Ottoman (Brown)

This is a really great chair. Very sturdy, well built for the price. The color is exact to the photo listed with the product description. It's a fantastic size, nice and wide, and I can easily snuggle up and spread out on it. Maybe even take a nap. I'm a woman, 5'7". However, the box it ships in is very flimsy and thin, and is easily dented and ripped in transit. The chair isn't wrapped or padded inside the box, so if the box is ripped, kicked, dented in any way, so is the chair. Mine arrived with 2 rips in the fabric at the corners where the box had been dragged or maneuvered by the shipping carrier (it's quite a large box and heavy to lift - 85 pounds), and also 2 stains in the fabric of the pillows. The pillow stains were not from transit, they were stained by the hinges of the foot stool they were tucked inside. My box was not in good enough shape to return the chair after opening. I did contact the seller but haven't heard back yet.

I have had this chair now for 11 months, and I love, love, love the look of it, but the frame has broken already..and it barely gets sat in! I honestly can't figure out how it could have possibly happened, since it hardly ever gets used, but one of the legs seemed loose when I moved it to vacuum, and upon closer inspection, I can see the frame is broken on one side entirely. There is absolutely no way to fix this without completely removing the fabric to get to the frame...and if the frame broke with barely any use, it wouldn't be worth the effort. More wasted money on disposable furniture from Amazon. Do yourself a favor and just invest in good pieces, not the stuff you have to assemble.Sept. 15th, 2019 - UPDATEMoved it today to vacuum and both of the back legs completely separated from the framework inside, which is now broken on both sides with barely any use at all. Seriously, no one has sat in the chair. I had to take all of the legs off and it's now sitting directly on the floor, but only for a short time, because I'm going to buy a real chair and put this piece of crap in it's final resting place, sitting on my curb for trash pickup.

Fantastic reading chair. Was a gift for my 13 year old son, he loves it and says it's very comfortable for reading. It looks great and was so easy to put together. Really love the storage ottoman. Good value for what we paid.

While I originally loved the style of this chair, my husband (who is less than 200 lbs) sat in it one day, and two of the legs simply broke off. The entire frame of the chair split, and it could not be repaired. The chair was only 10 months old, and it only received occasional use, so we were very disappointed. Cannot recommend this product.

It shows a back cushion and 2 pillows. I got no back cushion and 3 pillows, which you have to set up in a stupid way to cover the black liner where the back cushion should go.

I love my new chair and ottoman! It's an over-sized chair that seats myself and two of my kids. The ottoman opens up to fit 4 folded blankets (more if you fold them correctly). Love it!

This is not intended for people of larger size at all. But we purchased for our teen daughters room. One of the legs doesn’t fit quite right but we made it work. The fabric is nice but because it is thin.
