Excellent performance at the limit
I bought this cord for a particular use case. I have a 20A outlet that serves my clothes washer. On the same circuit I have a water distiller that I run during the winter. For years, I have used a Kasa switch with energy monitoring to run my distiller for a couple hours at a time. The distiller produces so much heat that I wait to run it until supplementary heating is required in the laundry room. Lately, I got the bright idea to hook my washer up to a Kasa of its own in order to monitor the load's progress. I don't always hear the chime when it finishes, and it's silly to replace a 10 year old washer just to get one that will email me when the cycle completes. Anyway, the idea is that when the Kasa app says that wattage drops to zero, the load is done. The outlet is fairly inaccessible behind the washer. Back when only the distiller was on Kasa, the washer was plugged directly into the outlet while the distiller's Kasa was plugged into some old 16ga power strip. That was fine for the distiller's 680W draw, but when I ran the washer through the power strip on a hot water sanitary setting, the variable draw of 1050-1400W was too much even with the distiller off. At first I thought the issue was the Kasa switch since the power strip reset itself, but then I replaced the power strip with this 12ga Yellow Jacket cord and the problem went away.To stress test the system, I set the distiller to run at the same time as the washer on a high heat sanitary cycle, something I would normally never do, and only did in this case because of record cold weather. For two hours, the distiller pulled its continuous 680W or 5.67A, while the washer varied between 1050-1400W or 8.75-11.67A. Combined, I had a steady load of roughly 16A, which was too much for either 15A-rated Kasa switch alone and was at the limit of what I would ask of the circuit. I periodically inspected both Kasa switches, as well as both the molded block and cord of the Yellow Jacket. The Kasas got warm as expected, the washer Kasa considerably warmer than the distiller Kasa, but the Yellow Jacket cord didn't heat up in the slightest. This was highly impressive performance.I would feel confident running 20A through this cord all day long, with the only caveat being that I would check on it in excessively hot weather. This is a quality cord that performs up to its rated limit and beyond with no drama.

Well Made
Perfect for outside outlets. No loss of power for tools because this has 12-3 wiring, equal to house wiring.

Good Product - Works - Authenticity Questionable
I have not put it under rigorous conditions yet, so I can not speak on its sturdiness but this is what I do know:I own other authentic yellow jacket power cords that i purchased from Ace hardware and here is where the authenticity is questioned.1. The price - Yellow Jacket items are usually a bit more expensive and I have a hard time accepting the company would price this at 10 dollars (I could be wrong)2. On all my other yellow jacket power cords and splitters, the plastic used to mold the plug housings are not crystal clear like this one, they are a bit foggy and have a texture to them - honestly they feel a bit more quality than this splitter.3. The branding logo on this item is slightly off from the branding on several other Yellow Jacket items. Companies often spend a lot of money on a brand and have extremely stringent rules when it comes to displaying their brand. It would probably blow your mind the list of rules Coca-Cola has for their brand - simply put, it doesn't match up.Conclusion = For the money this is a solid item, regardless if it is true Yellow Jacket craft or not, it works and has been working since i got it without any issues so I would still recommend it, especially for 10 bucks.
