Unusable for Me
I dream for the sky. My dream was there would be instructions, written in proper English that would explain to me how I could put a 400gb card with 12,375 FLAC tracks and growing into this beautiful Chinese brick and I could get that beautiful screen to show most of the album artwork and be easy to use (UI).Some dream. It was impossible for me to figure out. I wanted so badly to have a different experience with this item. I have the R3 and have no problems with that. I am purely an audiophile. My library comes from 800 store-bought CDs and just as much of my own home recordings. I used an MD recorder to make CDs and enter all of my LPs, reels and cassettes into FLAC files. The R6 made me erase the card and re-enter while the SD card was in the R6, which I did. The R6 was working like this ok, except no album artwork. I updated the player OTA. Only two albums of the 800 showed artwork. That was the closest I came to satisfaction with this player. I was a PITA for me to come to terms with and enjoy. Too bad. Back it went. As soon as I get credited, I will try the Astell & Kern A&norma SR15. Funny name, funny looking item, more of what me as an audiophile is looking for.I don't understand why such a beautiful and sophiticated unit came to me with practically ZERO instructions. Instructions are a part of the item as far as I am concerned. If they were supplied, I would have kept it. If I put the sd card in there, and it worked the first time with no problems, that would have been acceptable as well. I think this player is very cool for most people today and people are going to love it. I am rating it not based on my experience, but on what I truly think the R6 is capable of for most people.

What a great purchase!
I spent over a year deciding which mid-range DAP I wanted to purchase, and I chose an R6 from Musicteck due to the fact that the unit has 3GB of RAM, and also the exemplary customer service that I received from Andrew who was patient and courteous with me and my questions via email for many months. He helped me through the ordering process and gave great advice. The R6 is a fantastic DAP, and the 3 GB of memory really makes it snappy. The sound quality is great through my Meze 99 Classics, the battery lasts over eight hours, and overall I am very happy with my purchase.I would definitely recommend Musicteck to anyone that is serious about their music and that appreciates dedicated customer service.

Excellent product and customer service!
I must admit this is an excellent product exceeded my expectations! Never thought my earbuds were capable of producing such inbdepth, bassy, crisp and clear sound! There are so many features I am yet to discover, love the ability to load third party apps.In my opinion money well spent as it makes my drive to and from work much easier as the quality of sound has drastically improved in my car.Have to mention Customer Service was excellent 5 stars to Andrew who was quick to respond to my questions / requests. Purchased a leather case soon after cause the Hiby r6 should be properly dressed. Decided to go with this seller as they work with you in a timely manner.Really appreciate it and enjoying my products!

Good sound for the price
The device make good sound from 2 channels separate with hifi quality of sound, ease navigation, i use with 400GB SD card, can said read and play fast, android version is 6 little old but usually i don't use it so much. Battery life is good, keep 8-10h depends of format of sound track and volume. Actually i didn't received the device for amazon, because the send to wrong address (i bought it later from ebay without tax and come cheaper and faster), and they charged me 2 times because had dispute from my bank. Was worst amazon support that i see ever. They didn't investigate where is lost. The just charge me second time from a gift card bcz they know i can not dispute this. Be careful, do not give your gift card number bcz they can charge you when they want. They didn't allow me to post any feedback here. Worst support ever, be careful with this greedy company. At least i am very happy with this device for the price is very good quality. Now they have new device from same comapy and seem better with more improvement. Will buy it soon and test it. I recommend this device its worth for the money!

Soooo happy with the R6
My Sennheiser hd750’s didn’t come alive until I hooked them up to the R6. Strongly recommend using balanced output.Sound: Great detail. Neutral out of the box, but highly tweakable if neutral is not your thing. I know listening is a very subjective experience, but I can’t imagine that anyone wouldn’t be very happy with the R6’s sound - for me, it’s the best I’ve heard. High rez recordings absolutely shine.User experience - Great app and interface. Other players seem kind of “ad-hoc”. This is thoughtfully designed and VERY well executed. Battery life is not good. You’ll be lucky to get 2 hrs on a charge.Build - Touchscreen behaves flawlessly. Heavy and slippery, so you’ll want to use the silicone case, which is a shame because the steel is beautiful and well-finished.

A Must Have for the Audiophile on a budget!!
HiBy is a new brand name in the marketplace. They have been making components for years and have only recently decided to introduce their brand to an ever-growing field. After doing my due diligence I decided to give the new r6 a listen, not expecting my library of CDs to sound as “top shelf” as they did, to say nothing of the bright sounds from the 32 bit streaming service that I subscribe to. Do your research and don’t pass up the superior quality that HiBy produces comparable to much more expensive units and you too might be joining Santa in a HO! HO! HO! this holiday season!

the player on the balanced output heats up very much after 15 minutes, cuts off the music you have to wait until it cools the very good sound but only for a moment
