update- i have tried a couple other brands that had lower priced deals and they were slightly larger & stiffer- being a petite female this is the only one i will buy now- the softer foam and slightly lower profile fits me much better. the cover material did pill a bit in center (where most laid on) but can't feel it when laying on it. just bought a second but first one still going strong. i try to use every morning for 30-60 minutes in bed with my neck arched over it to stretch, from doing this i have definitely avoided several migraines over the last couple years without using prescriptions because of this pillow- certainly not all, but any pill not taken is great in my book! if you get a very stiff painful neck (especially if induced by posture) definitely try this pillow & stretch.i give myself migraines from sitting funky on my sofa and kinking up my neck, especially staring down at my phone~ this has been a blessing! forces me to lift my head a bit, supporting & cradling it. i am so happy i tried this to improve my posture habits. it also works awesome as an arch ^ under neck for neck stretch & support while laying on floor or bed- i have even slept with it like this in migraine mode. and of course it did very good for car travel too, i also find my hubby with it laying on the floor at home in the head cradled position. this has been the best $$ i've spent in a while, so glad i found & tried it! hands down i would buy again & may give as gifts!

Backstory: I have had many accidents, all of which damaged my head in one way or another. I have had wires held by buttons in my face to hold it back together. I have had stitches and staples.Suffice it to say, to lay my head down in any kind of comfort is nothing less than painful.I myself have designed, or tried to design a pillow that might work. What I have come up with was similar to this in looks/theory, so I tried it.MY REVIEW:I recently purchased from Amazon my 2nd, backup you know. I can sleep much more comfortably. I can Not sleep on either side (rarely) and this thing helps prevent me from my every desire to turn which I appreciate so much. I don't wake up with my head hurting and pounding most of the time. I will get a 3rd one just for travel so I don't take a chance of losing it.Oh, and I would recommend it to everyone. I will even loan them my spare to try. Thank you.

I used it in Premium Economy with a seat just in front of the bulkhead, couldn't recline, and the pillow wasn't too comfortable. Most comfortable used backwards and pressed against the window. I almost left a bad review. Flew business class on 12 hour international flight back, and decided to use the pillow again, with much better results. Having a seat that reclines back, you can see what this pillow was designed for. So, great pillow if you can lean back, not as good sitting straight up. I like that you can squish it into its bag.

This is just too small! I'm 5'3" and have a small neck. The actual neck groves are so shallow there is nothing to keep your head from rolling forward or to one side. The design concept is a good idea, but the size is more for kids than adults. I would try this in anothet size if they decided to make it larger, unfortunately Im return in ng this product.

I just went to Europe on a 7 hour flight and this was not comfortable to use as they have illustrated in the description. I had to put the longer ends of the pillow straddling my neck and then the shorter nobby ends on either side of my shoulder to comfortably rest with my head turned left or right. If I used it as their description says to use it, it was like my back was too immobile and straight and then got stiff. As far as material goes, it's like jersey material which is cool and soft but this was not a pillow I would want for a long trip and needing to sleep.

First time I went to use it the bag ripped and the zipper broke. Unfortunately I bought it well in advance of my trip so now I can’t return it. The company did work hard to replace the item in a prompt manner. We’ll see if the next one holds up

I love this pillow for traveling. It comes in a neat carrying case with extra zippers/pockets on each size to carry your travel odds and ends (chargers, memory cards, receipts, etc.). The pillow and travel case itself are both very high quality. The pillow is so soft and comfortable, I have no complaints about using it as a pillow. For me, it's not only good for plane rides but also if I travel to hotels or Airbnbs, or even need to crash on a friend's couch and their pillows are not comfy, this is a great substitute. It does not deflate like other travel pillows, so be warned as it will take up more space in your luggage volume-wise, or you'll just need to carry it around like a handbag. Highly recommended!

Bought one for use after surgery, to prevent accidentally rolling over in my sleep, and it was so comfortable that I bought one for every member of my family. It worked perfectly for my recovery, if anyone else needs to sleep mostly upright I'd highly recommend, but it is also great for travel. This is so much better then those u-shaped travel pillows that I'm surprised that I haven't seen anything like this before. It's supports your neck and keeps you from drifting into you neighbors space on the plain. The only drawback is the drawstring on the bag, which on a few I ordered stuck a bit. Would still 100% recommend, this is the best travel pillow I've used.
