I'm getting older, and have not yet embraced bifocals. I cannot use normal "readers" because I have an astigmatism, so I cannot see with out my normal glasses. Basically normal eyes are shaped like a baseball, mine is shaped like a football, everything I see without my normal glasses is warped. So, a lot of my more detailed art, or craft projects have been languishing. NO MORE! I love the magnifier, but I also love the directed light. Good stiff clamp keeps in in place well, but you have to be careful what you clamp it to, as it might damage a table unpadded.Vendor delivered in a timely fashion, and in good condition

You can only use this on a table. Clamp very large and bulky. Not for needlework frames.
