Though not my first easel, by far the best easel. There's nothing positively worse when one is painting and a nasty gust of wind comes and topples your easel. When this happens, you purchase the French field easel. This was by far one of the best art investments I have made recently and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Plenty of storage space for my brush kit, oil paints, towel, extra canvas, and a multitude of other necessary items. I would greatly recommend this easel to anybody, amateur or professional to hobbyist. Like other buyers have mentioned 'it is quite sturdy.' That it is and for that, it earns 5-Stars from me. A+

It was a pain and not user friendly to set up, the directions were lacking but they sent extra screws and such so that is helpful.I wasn't planning on traveling much with it so I think it will be a good addition to our home art class. Will likely pick up another in this style and keep looking till I find one that will pack up and go beautifully if our desire to paint ever gets there.In the mean time, the style of the easel complements the style of our home decor as well so it will be a lovely place to display art when not in use.

Bought this maven french style easel for my son's birthday who likes to paint he absolutely loved it. Said the easel was made of nice quality, was sturdy, like the storage and easy to set up. He is very pleased with it!

Its exactly what i wanted. No installation required, just set up.

Product is exactly what we needed. Shipping took forever though. Glad I ordered so long before Christmas because it got lost in the mail.

Its beautiful sturdy folds up. Has rulers on the legs so it can be even. I love it. It even came witha wooden pallet

Gift for my daughter in law ! Gorgeous item a bit rough but nothing she can't fix with her skills and a good buy !

Seems well made, will find out when the weather breaks and I can use it outside.
