Jujubes Original Candy (Pack of 3) 6.5 oz Theater Boxes

Great candy, exactly how I remember them as a kid. I read a lot of reviews saying the recipe must've changed because they are soft now but not the ones I got! they are exactly the same, hard until you chew them for a while, and same great flavor.

Always loved Jujubes and they are as good as ever. Good strong flavors and hard enough that I can chew them. Keeps me from eating so many calories!

Jujubes were very old and hard. I had to microwave the briefly to make the chewy. I realize not many people eat Jujubes these days but if there is some way to keep the stock fresh and not send out old, hard versions that would be great.

I guess I should have paid attention to some of the other reviews. I specifically bought these because reviews of some of the "after market" jujubes indicated they didn't have the same texture as the original ones (were too soft).Well, I'm here to tell you that neither do the brand name ones.Checked the expiration date on the box and it was 2017 so that's not the issue. It's obvious the company has reformulated these and they are no longer the same candy. I wanted the rock hard, almost like plastic ones that I remember as a kid. These are soft and chewy, as other indicated, more like Dots than true Jujubes.I wish I could return them but I opened two packages out of 3 just to check that it wasn't a fluke. Nope, they all are horrible.

Very good but costly

Buying jujubes, even in the store, can be hit or miss. Sometimes you open the box and they are all fresh and chewy, other times they are older and hard. I like jujubes of all kinds, but generally prefer the fresher ones. The jujubes that were delivered by Amazon were on the extreme end of being old and hard; so old that the glue on the boxes was failing and several of them were actually taped closed (I ordered 3 orders, so 9 boxes in total).I love jujubes and am going to eat all of these, but would not order from this seller again due to the quality/age of the product.

Best candy ever...cannot buy them locally anymore...sent them to my niece 😋
