This is a perfect Lens type ball that compares very well with the original for a fraction of the price. You can get some nice unique shots. There are two sizes available. I picked the smaller one and I'm glad I did. Any bigger and it wouldn't be something you would want to take with you on a hike - it's heavy! Huge caution: Do NOT EVER look through this lens. It's a magnifying glass. If the sun is out you could easily go blind. We are in Arizona and it's hot and sunny here. Just holding it in my hand I got a small burn. We put it on a table and it started smoking. Keep the ball in it's pouch, pull it out in the shade and you are all set to make amazing pics.

This made a couple of beautiful pics. My Ball has a slight flaw at one side of the ball so I'm kind of bummed that I have to spend time making sure to locate and place that side downward in the stand. The price is right, and it's just a gadget. Overall, I'd still recommend, but with the caveat of possible errors in casting.

I use this for photography and bought the book on how to use it effectively($12 on amazon). This is such a beautiful ball. Its heavy and comes with a little stand for it. Great price for such a durable piece.

Having a lot of fun playing with this for art photos. The glass is smooth and clear, easy to work with and so much fun.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas thinking it was a cool idea. She is an avid photographer and has been using this the last couple of months and I am absolutely blown away how this little orb affects her photos. Such an incredible idea! I highly recommend it!! Even if you just want to display it in your home. It's really pretty on it's own :)

I use this for some casual photography here and there. It's pretty fun and cool to use. Nice gift for sure. Maybe a tad pricey for what it is but it is neat and good quality.

A fun photography tool to play with if you have a good cell phone camera. For an SLR you would need a larger one.

I am always super careful and read almost every review before purchasing an item, but I am really happy to say that the positive reviews on this Lensball are true :-) The ball is perfect, no defects, and the clear stand is great too! Played around with it around the house, but can’t wait to use it on my next trip to the Rockies! Very fun and inexpensive little gadget to have! Definitely worth the 20ish dollars ;-)
