Nice, compact, does not take up space, has a nice feel and weight to it. works nicely with the rs485 connections. I'm using it on a desktop, it does not have to be in a vehicle. I does come with a USA power adapter. Note: DO NOT play with the language setting unless you read Chinese, all else is fair play. You will need to scan the 3D barcode to get the URL address for the PDF User Manual or [decoded: http semi colon slash slash 121 dot 42 dot 188 dot 188 semi colon 83 slash v2 slash 01 dot 04 dot 424 dot pdf (no spaces) ] The only draw back is that I can not find any setting for the 4D joystick sensitivity as in High, Medium, Low.

After hooking this controller up you could not go into settings because of no instructions telling you that you needed a password. After finding the password myself and changing the baud rate to 9600 for my camera the controller would still not do anything even after all my settings were correct. I made sure my 2 wires for positive and negative were right. Who knows , this might be a good unit if it came with instructions instead of trying to figure it out!

No instruction manual, no web site support address, no reset.And if you get into menu, first option is language, DONT change, everything will be in Chinese and you'll play whack a mole trying to get it back.Tried setting it up on some Pelco PTZ cams, no luck wouldn't work.
