Before I ordered this hot pot I searched several different appliances. I have a microwave oven but it takes at least 2 minutes to heat a cup of water, and then if I add cocoa powder it just doesn’t stir in very easily and completely. I prefer to put the powder in the cup and then add hot water. In reading the description I see it said you can heat soup or cook noodles - this was the deciding factor. Well, since I got it I’ve used it multiple times. I think I could even boil eggs in it. It heats VERY quickly because I have it turned up very high but it does have a wide range of temps. I’m so glad I bought this cooker.

Gift for students dorm room as coiled burner not accepted in room. Student will use for thins like instant oatmeal , instant hot chocolate, Ramon noodles etc. Student starts this fall , will know more on how it preforms then.

This is great little personal boiler. I use it daily often multiple time a day. It’s fast, and efficient and beating all c cheap!

The best thing about it is the shape, which makes it easy to wipe clean.The not good thing is that it doesn't turn off unless you unplug it.The @#$&%! thing is scalding your hand trying to remove the lid.

Worked just like a pot, perfect for college

I really like this. Very convenient for making instant coffee in my bedroom. I have had 2 before, which were lost on the last move. I think this is a good, well made water heater.
