Does the job with good stability.
Looked into a number of storage solutions for our 2 HEAVY hybrid bikes. Storage which amounted to leaning these bikes against an indoor wall resulted in damage to both wall and grip.We worried about stability and fitting both a wider tyre with substantial fenders. When I picked these up the box was lighter than I expected so I was concerned. However I was very surprised and ... pleased. The system folds flat and unfolds easily. The spring loaded arm accommodated our wide tyres and both the front and back wheel with fenders. It is more stable if the bike is in alignment BUT it is stable! This bike stand keeps the selected wheel proud of the floor.Although plastic, it seems robust and is certainly well designed. For us ... problem solved.

Rubbish
I bought two of these to support my 5kg titanium road bike and my wife's half ton Pashley with two huge baskets. the stand could support neither. The construction is flimsy - aluminium and plastic. The wheel supporting arms flex so much, even with a very light bike -that the bike falls over. with a heavy bike it is almost impossible to balance it so it stays upright. The other negative is that the folding legs are so loose that they fold back at the slightest movement, making the bike fall over yet again. I tried tightening them but as you're tightening an extruded aluminium arm in plastic there is only so much (and not enough) you can do until it breaks. Just useless. The old steel Bikehut stand I bought at Halfords a few years ago is infinitely better - doesn't flex and the legs don't fold . Oh, also the tyre grip is so wide it must be made for a motorbike, though it couldn't support the weight for a moment.

Not for all mountain bikes
This would have been a very useful stand to have, simple to use and would have no bother holding up many types of bike, my bike has 27.5x2.5 tyres and I feel that it just doesn't support my bike as good as my kick stand, now if the designers could have made it so the bottom rails could have slid out a bit more or extended a little it would have supported the wheel a lot more hence the rating, a good bike stand none the less

Perfect for my Needs
I am a wheelchair user and I recently bought myself a Hybrid Handbike. The handbike comes with a stand, but you only have to look at it and it wobbles, so not very good for my stress levels. I went on the hunt for a good affordable bike stand, and found this one. When I received it I was instantly impressed with the build quality and functionality. My handbike has a 20" front wheel and the stand accommodates it perfectly and is now securely stored in my garage and not a wobble to be had.

Happy with my purchase
Bought this for my brand new mountain bike (a 29er). It cost a little more than other options I saw but thought i'd give it a go nonetheless. The stand arrived with no assemble required. Has a quality feel to it too which is always quite nice. It houses my bike very securely indeed. Not overly keen on the sprung mechanism with makes it a touch fiddly to get the bike in the position. That said, overall, I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it.

Folding legs
Generally pleased with this stand (I bought two) they hold my bikes well and are easy to use, however I would have liked the ability to lock the legs when assembled as sometimes when moving the bike on or off the stand the stand can move and the long legs try to fold away, I resorted to drilling mine to the garage floor.

Okay but it can be improved.
The product is okay for 29" & 27.5" MTB tyres, however the horizontal arms which keep the structure upright need to be improved. The arms are too short to keep the bicycle standing with light wind conditions. My second bike, a racing bike with 23mm continental 4000 tyres, doesn't stand well. I need an extra support on the side to keep it from falling.NOTE: both my MTB and racing bicycles stand outside and have a cover. If you leave your bike uncovered the wind might have less of an impact on the bicycle moving on the stand.

Very impressed
So easy to setup and sturdy design. Saves me leaning the bike up against the wall and possibly damaging it.Only downside is that on a smooth concrete garage floor it slides so have to put a foot on the legs to stop it moving whilst pushing the bike in to the stand. Rubber feet would of been better instead of hard plastic feet.
