How to beat Moor's Law for £58!
Moore's law suckers many people into the belief that, every two or three years, their PC is obsolete and just not up to the job. These people have got into the habit of spending £1000 plus every three years on the latest high spec PC because that is what they are told they need. Sad really. If you can remove yourself from that nonsense and in a way use the reverse of Moore's law and realise that, a PC like this WAS the high spec model but 3 years ago and did everything you wanted it to do three years ago, then you can save yourself a wodge of dosh. This in fact STILL does everything I need it to do (web browsing, any amount of spreadsheet / word / graphic work etc etc.) with no issue and at £58 costs less than the DVD writer included when new. Its the definition of a 'no brainer'. Dell's are about as reliable as you can get and I store everything important on external drives anyway so no real risk. The actual PC looks fine. A couple of scratches here and there but solid. It loaded up and connected to my home network with no issues and everything works smoothly (it is incredibly quiet as well). I repeat, £58! What is there to think about.

Excellent move to Windows 7
I needed to move to Windows7, and use the old box a a file server. The refurb option on this Dell SFF desktop came out as a great low cost option. The delivery was prompt and within time. The external appearance of the Dell case was very good, anyway its hidden now with the printer on top. The front with the DVD drive is excellent no marks at all.The box worked after plugging in and W7 booted straightaway. Just remember this was a Vista machine that has had W7 added. The W7 registered OK with Microsoft so no issues there. The wireless and Bluetooth dongles work fine, but I now only use the Bluetooth as I have a wired network.I added a KVM switch to use both W7 and XP alongside one another to get things going.Moving stuff across took time with Windows Easy Transfer and an external drive. In summary a cost effective way to upgrade to W7 with excellent hardware.

An absolute bargain
I finally decided to upgrade from Windows XP to 7 and also replace my 8 year old Dell Dimension desktop PC. I bought this pack from the excellent Sam's, whom I strongly recommend. 2 tech emails answered in 5 minutes and as I also bought a refurbished 19 inch monitor from them they threw in a new keyboard and mouse. Old docs, music and photos were transferred using an Easy Transfer cable and Bookmarks and email address book using a memory stick. Everything worked first time. I'm not a gamer but have a huge iTunes library, photos, docs etc. This new machine fits the bill perfectly. Transfers a CD at 4x the old PC, is quiet and about a third of the size. Hard to tell it's not brand new and for a total cost of £200, an absolute bargain

Used Dell Optiplex 775 Computer
The specification for this used Dell machine was exactly what I wanted as a replacement for an older pc I had. The machine was a Small Format one which was smaller than the old pc so it fitted nicely in the space provided on my desk. The first machine that was sent was unfortunately not the one I had requested, but when contacted, they immediately agreed to send the right model. This arrived in good time. The Dell has worked perfectly and I am beginning to get to grips with Windows 7! The service and help was very good and I would recommend the seller to anyone.

Best deal in Town
Purchased this machine to replace my soon to be defunct XP machine. It arrived four days after I placed the order, pretty good as I live in Spain.Booted up with no problems, have been able to install most of my important files, and programs with a few minor exceptions, from the XP machine. It is pretty fast, and makes the old machine look as though it was going backwards. The product was everything that Sam's Computers said it was. Will I ever buy a new machine again? No. And am recommending the seller to all my friends.

Ideal upgrade
I had an old Dell xp computer which was getting so slow,I didn't want to upgrade to Windows 8 as I heard it is difficult to use so went for the Dell windows 7 it arrived very quickly and was easy to install, I did not need to call the supplier but did pay the more expensive price because of the customer write up which we're excellent, so far I am very pleased with it. I would have liked a bit more information with it as games are not installed and it took me a while to find how to install them.

Bargain
I needed to update my ageing computer - it was very slow and op sys XP - now no longer supported. This computer caught my eye, and although not a top spec it has the speed and facilities I desire at a very reasonable price. It came loaded with a genuine copy of Win7 pro, open office and a few other utilities, WiFi connection with dongle and ethernet all work fine. HDD is big enough for me, so overall I'm a happy bunny
