Best hold-down for CNC machines
This is the best tape I have found to hold down wood, metal or plastic for carving in CNC machines. It is very thin, easy to remove (no residue), and the liner is easy to remove as well. Other tapes can be too sticky and hard to work with. This one is just right - holds tight to the waste board, even when damaged, but then easily pried up with a putty knife. Couldn't be better.

Easy to use with high shear strength
This is the best double-sided tape I have used to hold my guitar templates to almost all the different wood species. It comes in multiple widths and leaves virtually no residue behind: great product, and fast shipping.

Super sticky- Super long lasting.
I mostly use this for mounting small, light wood projects on my lathe. I press this on to my project and press this on to the face plate. I always use the tail stock to keep it tight and safe. Finally I use light cuts .I have turned up to 12” light platters and it worked well.If you try to turn heavy or unbalanced wood and really like to gouge in or have a heavy hand: DONT do this. Use screws or a chuck.I usually plane the bottom of the work piece where the tape goes . The tape releases easily if you microwave it for a few seconds. The tape is also great for holding down rugs.Adhesive remover or WD 40 easily removes adhesive.

Easy to use. Adheres well*
As another reviewer mentioned, you need to make sure both surfaces are clean and free of sawdust. Seems like a no-brainer, but that task is harder than you'd think when using this in a woodworking shop.Thats said, I gave 4 stars because the room for error is very small. It either sticks well or doesn't really stick at all (although it may fool you into thinking otherwise). There's no real in between. When you're working with a router or CNC machine, the risks of error are already high enough, so it sucks when the tape you thought was good to go detaches and your workpiece is ruined in an instant. On the other hand, I've used a few other doube-side tape options, and none are this good. This tape easily tears with your hands, so you don't have to mess around with scissors or razor blades. It creates a strong bond to a *clean* surface. The backing is easier to remove than most other tapes I've used. Finally, it removes cleanly without leaving residue or harming your workpieces.Overall, I would recommend this tape. As I mentioned, it works very well, but attention must be paid to prepping the surfaces before use.

Sticks like glue--but isn't
This two sided tape is for holding stacked pieces of wood together to make duplicates of a pattern. It does an excellent job. I have used it for making toy wooden car parts and rockers for a child's rocking horse. Just a few short pieces spaced over the length of the piece is all it takes. No shifting. Easy to remove. No residue. Won't gum up your saw.

Useful shop aid
I first got used to using double sided tape while working in the aviation cabinetry world. We used it constantly. Primarily for securing a straight edge while routing a detail, or fine tuning an edge as in fitting a door to fit its opening. I use it all the time for just this kind of work. It's labor saving. The adhesive sticks securely but lets go without marring wood surfaces. Just make sure you press firmly to set it in place. You can trust that it will hold temporarily, but let go.

The Best
The best double-sided tape for woodworking currently available. Works great. A bit expensive, but worth it.

It works!!
Great product to temporarily secure your workpiece for as long as you need to. I have used this both to secure an armrest to my guitar body as well as to keep wood I am working on from slipping. Has not failed me yet. Been on my guitar for almost a year with regular use and no slippage.
