I had a stall shower removed and the walls finished off to make a closet to store quilting materials and supplies. When trying to decide what I was going to use for shelving based on the size I needed and the weight it needed to hold, I came across this unit. I liked the fact that the shelves were completely adjustable, it came in the size I needed and could hold the load.I ordered this unit and it came the other day. I was amazed at how easy this actually was to assemble, it took me longer to figure out how I wanted the shelves configured than putting it together. It is a nice sturdy unit and has really helped me to organize my bins of material and make them more accessible when I'm working on my charity quilts. This is a great sturdy, functional and visually appealing product and I would highly recommend it.

We have a number of these shelf units in the storage room of our house. They are very easy to se up, and they come in a variety of heights anspd shapes to fit a variety of spaces. They are lightweight, but quite sturdy. The quality of the workmanship is first rate.

Quantum or Amazon keeps rearranging how these are ordered. I'd bought several different dimensions of the '800 lb' version, thought this was just a different size. 300 lb is version is cheaper, but I'm replacing plastic shelves that sag - last thing I need is a replacement that sags.Mostly my fault for not paying attention to the differences - but the link/page I bought from the last time is no longer active. I'll keep it and cross my fingers, not worth shipping issues to return and get the other one.HA! I've got some boxes full of CD's to store that are heavy, and a leftover "800 lb" shelf of the same size. Put it at the bottom, and I'm all set.Shown: Silver shelf is "300 lb" version, Black shelf is "800 lb" version. (Colors are incidental.)OTOH, if you don't need to store heavy stuff, this weighs less, so is easier to move around, assemble, etc.Upgrading from 3 to 4 star - quality is good, it's just a question of price/weight/solidity.

I was able to store multiple very heavy sewing machines on every shelf of this unit. Wish I had just one more shelf for the top for more storage. This unit is amazing and can hold a massive amount of weight.. Much sturdier that I thought it would be and the dimensions are ideal.. Doesn't move or sway an inch! I had a heck of a time finding any kind of a strudy storage rack that was only 30 inches wide as that was my max width I could use. I much better than I was even hoping for.. Plus came with extra spare pieces and was very well packed. A++++ No, I did not receive anything for this review, just wanted to give good credit where credit is due!

Love these shelves! We have had several sets of them, some for close to 17 years!. They are durable, sturdy, don't bow or sag. Are easy to set up with another person helping, less easy but still doable by yourself. Super easy to rearrange the shelves (with everything off of them, of course) since never a tool required, just patience and a little time.The only thing they've ever "failed" on is that the black ones sometimes chip their paint (or whatever it is) off. The silvers never lose any pigment or paint or whatever is on the black.Note; even though some pictures show them, this particular set (RWR72-1836LD 4-Tier Wire Shelving Unit, Chrome Finish, 300 lb. Per Shelf Capacity, 72" Height x 36" Width x 18" Depth ) does not come with wheels. They just have the adjustable feet things, and we definitely needed the front right one to make up for sloping floor in our bedroom.

I bought these to hold 3 gallon water jugs as the other water jug holder either had them facing down, which would have created a huge problem as the jugs leak! The ones that hold the jugs upright are bulky and very heavy - I'm short, pudgy and older, so that wouldn't work! - I went looking for something that would fit in a specific location and these were the perfect size!These fit perfectly next to my freezer to hold the 3 gallon water jugs for our crock. With 4 to a shelf weighing in at about 100 lbs, the shelves hold up & don't even move when I drop one onto it with 3 other jugs already there. It also gave more storage for the kitchen in an attractive chrome shelving unit. Very Happy!!!

This is a great rack for smaller areas. It was difficult to find a 30" wide & 18" deep rack. Most racks tend to be either 36" or 48" wide. I really liked that you can have the shelves at different heights based on your needs. My lowest shelf was 30" high so I can fit my shoe rack at the bottom and then each subsequent shelf was about 13" high. Instructions were clear & assembly was quite easy - just screw on the 2-piece posts, clip on the black rings onto a marked line at your desired height (repeat for 3 remaining posts), thread the shelf through the 4 posts, use a rubber mallet to ensure the shelf is securely locked into place and then repeat for the remaining shelves. If you have very tall items, you can even opt to only use only 3 shelves to increase the height of each shelf. We added some S hooks on the side of the shelf to we can hang backpacks and other items. This shelf helps us utilize & organize the space in our pantry.

Sturdy, holds easily what the description states and more. Space shelves out well enough to give more room between shelves allowing the top shelf to go from it to the ceiling- highly recommend. Great deal for the money!!!

Good value, easy to put up shelving unit... ONLY IF not needed for heavy duty use.Shelves are on the flimsy side and can NOT handle the weight they advertise. I kinked a shelf placing three copy paper boxes on it. Much less weight than the advertised 300 lbs/shelf.You get what you pay for.... so as long as you don't need heavy duty use, these are ok... but I would not recommend.
