I bought these for my project to make a home made 737 cockpit and they are perfect. The indents on the rotation is perfect, not too tight not too loose. The button press feature is just right too. I am very happy with them. The seller is recommended too, good value and delivered on time.

All pretty simple to do using an Arduino or ESP32.Pricewise, these are "OK" for a UK supplier; yes, they are cheaper from the Far Eastern warehouses but these days they charge VAT / customs so the price advantage they once had is being eroded; it's as easy to order from Amazon and you get it the next day!I also like the fact that these KY-040 devices have pullup resistors already built in; it just makes the whole setup that bit easier.No complaints from me.
